Quiet, small park. Paved path for walking. Pavilion for sitting. Grill in area. Typically we’ll maintained.
Stopped at this park to enjoy lunch with my husband and son. The area itself was lovely with many trees and a scenic view of the mountain. The playground was average with a small area for toddlers and an adjacent area for older children. In the short time we were there, a homeless person was sleeping in the pavilion while another man was approached by police and taken away in handcuffs. I understand this is the sad reality of poverty and perhaps we had visited on a bad day, but I would likely not take my child here again.
My kid loves this park. It usually has a decent amount of other kids there as well. The canal is a fun touch with little docks and a little trail in the woods so it's fun for parents too lol. Cameras is a nice safety touch they added.
This is a small very quiet park with not alot of ppl going there. And it's kinda hidden. If you didn't know it was there you could easily muss it. Very clean and landscaping well kept.
Very short trail but beautiful location.
I found this park to be very clean and attractive.Much activities for the children to enjoy theirselves. The flowers added a extra touch to back the park attractive. I ENJOYED THE WALKING TRAIL! One event that took place and I witnessed this has caused me to be cautious of my surroundings and if I would stop there again with a 4 yr old.
It was quiet small and full of fun, it's what I wanted when I was 4 years old, thanks roanoke!!!
We love it! There is a lot of glass in the parking lot. That needs to be kept clean. Safer for the kids walking back to the car. But normally the park is kept clean. The kids love it there!
Got up early for a sunrise hike only to realize the view looks west. ð Still totally worth it even though it was windy and cold. Great for hiking, running, climb and chill, or explore the various loops
Beautiful spot. The azaleas were at their peak. A trail map would be nice as there seem to be several choices with some of them dead-ending. There were some large trees down across the path... one that had to be crawled over and another required a
I like using the exercise stations here, I like the art installations, the tree lined path, especially during hot weather months. I love that it's alongside the river and Black Dog Salvage. It's a small park so parking is limited.
One of the nicest parks in Roanoke, in my opinion. Itâs not very big but itâs a pretty decent size! I sometimes pick up my friendâs children from Woodrow Wilson Middle. Iâll take the children here until their parents get home. The basketball
Great place for the pup to get out and explore. Quiet. Been there 3 times and each time not crowded at all. But they have been in off hours.... but is a beautiful place, benches, kids playground, basketball court, volleyball net and a lot of room to
Lovely nice people, a fine selection of stuff to choose from. A nice little hang-out spot. The park is lovely and not far from the library where you can play sports.
Looking for top-notch martial arts training? Look no further than Lindamood's in Roanoke. Both my sons trained, for many years, with Bobby and Michelle, through Snyder's. You simply cannot find a more professional group of martial artists... They NEV
