Protein, protein, protein... Delicious family style BBQ we had some of everything. Brisket, ribs, jalapeno sausage and turkey. Everything was delicious and the sides were the icing on the cake. The key lime crumble was just the right amount of sweet and tart. Recommended if you're in the mood for some good BBQ and good company.
Very dissappointing in the meal.. price was 2 meals for $22 with pork sandwich, coleslaw, macaroni, and soft drink..Portions in my opinion were considerably small . ..except the pulled pork size was... ok... but the bun was very small! It was served on a platter with just a paper liner...i asked for a plate and was told "No Plates"... Clerks did not have a welcoming attitude.
I’ll say that it is better than some of the other bbq restaurants in town. We ordered the two meat platter combo and for $18.00 and the two meat choices portion was pretty small but it tasted good. The potato salad had way too much mayo or sour cream because it was pretty runny but the jalapeño cheese grits were good. Had pretty good service and the restaurant appeared to be well maintained and clean.
A co-worker recommended Ridgewood Brothers BBQ for lunch. I am glad she mentioned this restaurant! It has a layback atmosphere, friendly staff, and delicious BBQ. I ordered the Bronco sandwich with a side of jalapeño cheese grits. It was the bomb!
We came here for the first time on Father's Day. We had read all the reviews and was REALLY looking forward to some amazing BBQ. It wasn't very busy when we got there just after noon, so that was nice. However they didn't have much of anything left. Everything was pretty much gone, which seemed crazy considering they hadn't been open very long. The green beans were way over peppered, and chewy. The baked Beans were WAY too sweet for our liking, the bacon burn ends were mediocre at best. The coleslaw needed plenty of salt to bring down the sweet, and the brisket just didn't have much flavor at all. What we were able to try if the jalapeño grits was tasty, but could definitely tell it was the bottom of the barrel. The pulled pork was the best thing we had. Everything was really almost too far on the sweet side for us. Unfortunately we wouldn't know if anything else was good or not because there wasn't much left. Maybe it was poor planning for the influx for Father's Day? Not sure.
The ladies working the counter were pleasant and they got everything right with our order minus missing am order of green beans but that was an easy fix.
The pop machine was down because they didn't have any carbonation, so it was lemonade, tea or water. We may give it another try but it was really kinda disappointing after all the amazing reviews we had seen.
Looking for better BBQ than Fat Daddy's? Come here! It was my first time here and I'm not disappointed. Sausage was on point and delicious. Pork ribs were tender and had great flavor even without sauce. The hubby got burnt ends and they were very tasty too! The smoked green beans were a great choice as a side. Atmosphere is picnic-esque and quaint - just right for a good BBQ.

While working in the area we asked around and Fat Daddy's BBQ was the choice. Rustic building that fit the landscape and had the smell of a BBQ joint. Everyone has their opinion of BBQ, wet, dry, sauced, seasoned, list goes on and on. A few weeks ago
Weston was amazing help! We have come back to do business with him for the second time and we WILL be back again. Go see him if you want quality, honesty, and excellent service!
First time in since they moved buildings. I love the atmosphere. It's calming and welcoming plus the smell of coffee literally makes you want to grab a cup, a blanket and curl up in the chairs and read all day. And picked up a book that was on my to

I normally eat fish at another place in town, but tonight it was late and we didnât want to cook and wanted something close. The lady who owns this place works in cat rescue with my wife, so she has always suggested we try here and we finally did.
Delicious food and super nice people. Their egg rolls are the best in town. It's the only place in town to get frozen Boba tea, and it's amazing! Highly recommend.
Always a great experience when you visit Old South. The new location has improved parking. There will likely be a wait to get in, but that's because it's worth it! From the minute we were seated, we had superb service. Food came quickly for as busy a
