Ricochet Range - Shooting range in Sumter - 1410 US-15, USA

I visited the range for first time yesterday. Was impressed with the clean, orderly layout. Was approached quickly and offered assistance. Rob explained everything and took care of my registration. I entered the range and Mike promptly showed me all the workings and rules. Very nice people and a great place to shoot, Ill be back next Thursday.

I've been going to this range since they opened. The store staff are always friendly and helpful and they keep the store clean and organized. The range is climate controlled and the target carriers are motorized. The RSOs are helpful and very safety oriented. I've taken a few of their training courses including a one on one session. The instructors makes the training fun and a great learning experience.

Decided to go for my first time yesterday. As mentioned in many reviews, this is a state of the art facility with an exceptionally focused and helpful staff. Greeted promptly, registration created quickly, and thorough briefing on use of the technology on the range. As a veteran I am thankful for the owners and staff. What a wonderful addition to Sumter!

Fun private party, staff was extremely friendly and helpful. An RSO even taught me on fanning the hammer for the first time. A go to place for indoor range shooting.

I personally know the owners of this establishment and have learned a lot about shooting and safety over the years from them. They are veterans like myself and upstanding people. I know Rob has extensive firearms knowledge and works hard to stay on top of that knowledge. I look forward to visiting their range and putting some rounds on target.

Since Ricochet Range opened I have taken classes there, attended group meetings, and made several gun purchases as well as several other purchases in their store. These guys are the absolute best I could ever possibly have interacted with. Being a female it is sometimes intimidating to go into a male dominated environment (i.e. guns and ammunition) and feel welcome and supported. Every single one of the owners/employees have gone out of their way to make myself and my family feel welcome and answer questions. They even host the Armed Women of America’s monthly meeting where they donate their facility in the hope of advancing the comfort levels and proficiency of women using firearms. I am SO thankful for their establishment in our area!

Excellent experience! Very knowledgeable, professional, and courteous staff. By far the best gun store experience I’ve ever had. Do your self a favor and stop by here. You won’t regret it. I bought a Dead Air Sandman S from them a few months ago. They handled the entire process with the utmost care. Keeping me updated regularly. Awesome experience.

Last Visit For a New Reoccuring Client I Had a very humiliating experience today while attempting to pick up a fire arm I ordered offline. I went into the facility and showed my order from Palmetto armory to a young lady at the counter whom I'd never interacted with before. (short red hair and glasses). When I inquired about the transfer fee she appeared irritated. This was not my first purchase at this location however I was not aware of the transfer fee as this order was an online purchase. I then transferred money from my bank made the payment, filled out the form, and then stood around for about 15 mins. A gentleman came from the back and apologized for the delay and said it would take a little longer. I went to sit down and then noticed my phone was dying so I went to the car to place it on the charger. To my surprise the owner of the gun shop came to the parking lot shouting at me that he was gonna hold my gun untill the 14th of December....roughly 5 days. I was so shocked as I'm not sure why someone would yell a persons personal information outside and in front of other shoppers in that manner. I then said ok and proceeded to leave. The owner then yells out actually I'm sending the gun back where it came from. I then decided to go back into the establishment to require a refund of the transfer fee i had just paid since it would not be transferred to me from this location. The owner then gets loud with me in the store and stated he did not like the fact that I calmly walked away and he rather explain why he decided to return the fire arm. I was totally humiliated at this time as I've purchased from this Riccochet Range previously as well as had another fire arm that I own repaired a few times at this same location. I've been seen successfully by the gentleman with the long grey beard as well as the young man with the short brunette with no issues what so ever. They have always been helpful when shopping with them. It appears that todays treatment was due to some unknown bias that the young lady and store owner today must have had against me. As I left I asked other shoppers had they noticed any issues that I may have given in the store and they stated they only saw the owner shouting at me. Shoppers be Aware!!! Instead of replying to this review i wish the owner could show where my visit warranted him shouting at me in that manner!!
