Best flavored food I've had since being on the East Coast this past year. I got the yellow rice, habichuela, and pernil. The skin was so crunchy, and everything was delicious. Can't wait to go back and try the empanadas and other meat. Glad I found this gem of a place
I absolutely love this place ❤ The owners are so nice. Everytime I have an event or party I order from her. The food is absolutely amazing!
Nothing but Abuela and Abuelo love and good food here. Ricky's is a small, family owned, to-go spot with simple Spanish plates at great prices. They normally have chicken, steak, rice, beans, and empanadas. A plate for chicken with rice and beans is $8. Steak is $8. Empanadas are $1.50! They are all huge servings and deeeelish. This is true home cooked goodness and the couple here are so nice. I'll choose this spot over any other latin restaurant in the neighborhood. They keep your belly full and grandpa's positive vibes and short stories about his glory days will keep you there for a few extra minutes chatting about nothing. Just like grandpa's do. Love it!
I actually used Google to find this restaurant. When I walked in there were no menus or specials listed anywhere. The food was okay, if you ordered chicken its legs only. I'll have to find another restaurant, I don't think I'm going back.
classic rice and beans with chicken and tomato sauce, but the empanada for $1.50 are crazy delicious
Very good! Love the pollo. Yellow rice and red beans. Cooked classic. Falls off the bone.
A family owned, hole in the wall, gem! This place is tiny and may seem a little sketchy from the outside but the owners were so sweet and the pernil with rice and beans was some of the best I’ve ever had. Definitely request pieces of skin because omg they were so crunchy and bursting with flavor.
Good food and cute little spot for a quick bite to eat.
This place is amazing. Great Coffee and really high quality sandwiches, all for the same price or even less expensive than Starbucks (and less crowded). Awesome bakery stuff too. Canât recommend it enough.
