Went here for early dinner with wife & our main dish lacked flavor & love even with adding lobster. We loved the over sized pretzel but that won’t keep us coming back

The food can be great here, but is inconsistent. A lot of open space gives you room to breathe. Pricing has gotten high, and not entirely a fan of them changing all the beers to macro brews, but I can live with it. What is wrong here is the service. Sitting at a bar with only a few other people, you should expect the bartender / manager to spend some focus on those patrons. That did not occur here. And while I understand that a bartender doubling up as a manager can create those types of issues, being rushed into an order because the kitchen is closing without warning is not. On top of this, it was not actually closing, and we were lied to by this bartender in order to pressure us to order. This can NEVER happen. That is the type of conduct that costs customers and results in bars closing down. Management and ownership needs to take a hard look at how this place is being run, because customers being lied to is wholly unacceptable and detrimental to the success of the business.

Went here for the first time today. I was so torn between all the menu choices and drinks. Ordered the 'rainbow cookie' milkshake which according to the menu was supposed to have vanilla, chocolate and strawberry ice cream, and rainbow cookie pieces inside. Instead I got a strawberry milkshake, and not even a good one. It had way too much milk in it, not enough ice cream. This was my only bad experience really. Otherwise I got the tortellini Mac n cheese appetizer which i split with someone and it was really good, but extremely filling. So when I got my main course (the Matrix burger with a beyond burger patty) I could barely eat it. My eyes are always bigger than my stomach, sadly. 🥲 Gave 4 stars for the $12 bad strawberry shake but I'd definitely come back to try other things on the menu.

Beautiful restaurant with delicious food and fair prices. Also very child friendly which is very important and they don't try to rush you out the door. I highly recommend Richmond Republic.

Food was very good and filling, I had a matrix burger that came with fries. Only complain I had was that even tho I ordered it medium rare it was juicy at all. The meat was dry even when squeezed. Other wise the meal was great, fries was fresh and hot.

Went here for lunch after hearing great things about this place. Overall pretty decent. Not much to choose from on the menu. It consists of many appetizers. It’s also a little pricey. Not a bad spot though. Service was great and friendly. Nice atmosphere, a little dark for the day time though!

I had an amazing dinner here recently. The food was incredible I highly recommend the mac n cheese with lobster on top. My burger was cooked perfectly, seasoned well, and the fries were very crisp. The staff were very kind, thoughtful, and sincerely caring. I will certainly be returning for another dinner.
