Richard's Motel - Hotel in Hollywood - 1219 S Federal Hwy, USA

This place is ran by incompetent staff. The Richard is very cordial through the phone and text but his staff is rude, disrespectful, and most likely on drugs. How is it that a non-smoking room smells entirely like a cigarette box. Both the towels and blankets are all stained. In addition, be prepared to check in and check out and completely entire hotels than where you’re staying the night. Oh it’s because they send you a message after booking with instructions to a completely different location for check-in and they inform you that you need to leave a $50 deposit cash only!!so be prepared to shuffle around banks to get cash. This is by far the worst experience I’ve ever had in a hotel. I can’t understand how aggressive and rude the staff are. To the lady wearing the Brooklyn nets shirt in the front office: you are not qualified to do anything. This place could be ran better off with out you. Literally don’t come to this place. This place is for people that want to be treated like absolute trash. To top it off if you want to get you deposit back they’ll make you go through hoops and obstacles one location to the next. It’s appalling that these people have the nerve to be rude when you question why you have to go back and forth to get a deposit. Richard I really hope you fire all these lowlifes. This does not deserve a star at all. DONT COME HERE

Bathroom was tiny, no wash cloths, roaches crawling around. Paid for a late check out and end up leaving early. The process getting a room is too much of an hassle. So much easier to book a hotel online.

Disgusting I walked into the room went straight into the shower. When I went to lay down on the bed I noticed flies and blood stains on the sheets. I went to the front desk to complain and get a refund, the receptionist (long black hair , brown skin , and a nose piercing) was aggressive and rude in his manor of serving me. DONT STAY HERE ITS NASTY AND SMELLS OF DRUGS AND FILTH.

It even doesn’t deserve a star but unf there is no’0’. The place is total mess,smells horrible,the recepcionist is very rude and no idea how they are running the hotel. They need to do pest control test i don’t think it can pass, paying service fee through expedia,but cleaning the room before leaving also doesn’t make any sense. The bed sheets were terrible and smell like it did not wash.not even hygenic way more wasting money the staff was weird, they hang ppl’s id on a door in the office which was awkward why they are keeping the records there. It is not trustworthy. So many things to say about this place I would not stay there if the hotels around Hollywood weren’t completely booked. And the windows were not closed the mosquito bit us.

This place is nasty, and the receptionist was pretty rude. i needed a room just for a night, but even could not sleep there. the beddings smeel something bed and the apartment also smells horrible. the room literally has nothing to do with the ones on expedia. the service was also worst, there was information sticked on the window says, if the room is dirty or full of trash they need to charge some amount of money. that was weird, I only stayed for a night i left the room very clean but that‘s absurd cos ppl pay for service fee and clean the room,wth i don’t recommend this plac, i think the motel or hotel whatever is supposed to be inspected and the owner should do pest inspection. The flies bit me.

Nous avions deux lit pour 4 personnes avec seulement trois oreillers nous avons demandé par deux fois d'avoir un oreiller et j'aimais nous l'avons reçu. La chambre était vraiment ???? Investisser un peu dans les chambres nous allons en Floride minimum 3 à 4 fois par année prochaine fois nous allons au motel Shell plus propre.

Traveler Beware!!!! The whole experience was absolute horrible! It all started at check-in, when We weren't allowed in the motel lobby, at 4pm! Then as We started to book Our stay, We were approached by a local, who commenced to asking the value of My Wife's Shoes! Then the clerk allows, the other persons, inside and not Us! As the clerk continued to do the necessary paperwork, She returns to the window and told Us that She would be looking to give Us an upgraded room because We "look like decent people!" What was that supposed to mean!? Was it a racial thing because We were of a different ethnicity, than Her!? So, after shaking that comment off and entering one of Their "Upgraded Rooms," it was not very inviting! The bedsheets, were a very off-putting yellow and the room, was filthy and dingy! The shower, had what appeared to be a dark colored splatter of bodily fluids, dripping down the wall! As Our one night stay went on, We promptly left the place because it made Us very uncomfortable, to be there! We drove into Downtown, because We didn't feel comfortable hanging around the place! So... We are not from Ft. Lauderdale and had a flight out, before Their 8am-11am, checkout window! As any honest person would, We dropped the room key, in the motel mailbox and agreed to take the loss of Our $20 deposit! More than 24 hours later, We received a phone call from a different clerk (accompanied by the original clerk), at Richard's Motel! Telling Us that We took Their key and We forgot Our $20 cash deposit! We promptly explained where the key was left and that We knew that the deposit would not be able to be refunded, to Us! The clerk "looks" for the key and tells Us that the key is not, in the Motel mailbox! To which I reply, check Your countless cameras and You can see that I dropped off the key and We left the motel, at 5:23am! I, further informed Her that I can contact My attorney and the local police and get the footage, to prove that and cooperatively, My Google maps, will produce the exact time that We left, that morning! To which She paused a second and Replied, "That won't be necessary, Sir! We're sorry to bother You and Have a nice day!" Then Why call Me, 1500+ miles away, to harass Me about a $2 key and tell Me that I forgot My $20, in cash!? What was the plan, there!? We're They gonna ship My $20, back to Me, if They "found" the key?! Just get a new key made and buy Yourself something nice, with the remaining amount! How ridiculous, People! What an absolute catastrophe! Were going to the Hilton, from now on! I wouldn't recommend this place, to My worst enemy! End Rant!

It was a cute and cozy motel , with a nice natural ambience, Paula at the front desk was amazing, great customer service, she helped us and guided us to a greater stay, the pool area had a gas barbecue that you could use if you are in to saving money, and cook for your kids and family, the room we had was in the other location which was 4 blocks away from where you check in, it also had a pool but we liked the one from the main location more, but the room was pretty clean and big, it had a kitchen with fridge, microwave, stove and a kitchen table, there wS a living room with TV and sofa and table, the bathroom was separated from the bedroom, and also had a little office area with desk to work with your laptop, it was very private and comfortable, we definitely recommend this affordable place, which is like 7 minutes to the beach by car, and also you can download an app to be picked up by golf carts and take you to the beach for $2 , awesome 👌 place.
