WARNING DO NOT EAT HERE!!!
I was here 11/28/2023 and got ripped off. My mom was visiting me and I decided to take her out for a nice (and expensive) dinner. We both ordered filet mignon and when the waitress brought us our dinners we both instantly told her that the steaks she brought us were not filet mignon. They were obviously cheap steaks that they were selling as quality steaks. She ran back to the head chef and he insisted that they were filet mignon steaks. The steaks were 3/4” thick, chewy, and stringy. I asked to speak to the owner, but he was not available. The head chef came out and showed me two raw pieces of meat trying to convince me that one was a ribeye and the other was a fillet. If they were filet mignon, they must be a dollar store version. I paid around $40. for each steak, the slice of bread that was served with dinner was the same thickness as the steaks!! I have pictures. I argued with the head chef but that did nothing to solve the problem. I PAID OVER $120. WE DIDN’T EAT THE STEAKS. WE LEFT HUNGRY AND ANGRY/DISAPPOINTED.
The steak was cooked to perfection, the waitress was nice and kept our drinks full. The building itself though really needs some updating. The inside looks pretty run down.
First off we arrived at 850pm. We drove 3 hours for a softball tournament so we were hungry, thirsty with limited options. We walked in to a VERY friendly staff! (They close at 10) The name of our waitress on our ticket is Mary. I was a little jaded from the trip and didn't catch her name. Let me say I'm willing to put her easily in the top 5 wait staff I've EVER encountered! Very sociable and engaging! I ordered the boneless pork chops which were cooked to perfection! (At least for me) They were cooked perfectly to temp, very juicy with seasoning that was tasty! I do A LOT of cooking at home and I couldn't have been happier if I cooked them myself! If I'm ever in the area again..... I'm totally going back! My wife had the salad bar which she loved. Sorry I didn't get any pics.
First time here and it has both good and bad parts. The bad parts can be handled with not much change.
First let's explore all the good parts.
Associates are nice and friendly and my server Morgan I found was very out going with helping me decide what to order. I opted for the unsweetened tea and it tasted freshly brewed. This was nice as I always drink it and can tell if a site treats it like an oversight. Morgan is on top of her game as she doesn't let anyone's drink go empty.
They are constantly cleaning even when it looks clean which gives me the opinion that they care.
They offer a salad buffet with a small charge to your order features fresh greens and vegetables.
Morgan gave me a nice looking burger and fries. Thr burger perfectly cooked as I wanted and fries piping hot and tasted great. The condiments were provided in packets but no big deal, also no ketchup for the fries. I had to find a bottle just around the corner but again no big deal. The bun in my opinion was a little stale and a let down but the burger was medium well, slightly pink center, just as I ordered.
While on the subject of letting down the customer I made a visit to the men's room and the good part was you have to use a handle to pull open the door which is perfect. The bad part it you have to touch everything in there. No automatic faucets or urinals and found roll of paper towels on counter and not in the dispenser.
Just like us all, not perfect but worth a visit if you got time for lunch.
On leaving Morgan offered a "to-go" cup which also added to my experience.
I was in and out in a little over half an hour.
Liz was great, but the food was only middle of the road. Was anything wrong or bad... no. BUT the things that were less than stellar were as follows
1. The seafood was well cooked, but basically unseasoned.
2. There was a good portion of fries but they tasted kinda stale like they were freezer burned, or had been sitting under a heat lamp a little too long.
3. The Texas toast wasn't toasted. It just had melted butter on it. Then the seafood was served on top of it making it wet and squishing it.
Fresh off the fields from metal detecting for Digstock 2023. Our food was the best if the 4 days we spent in NC. We are from NE Ohio and have some great steakhouses. We wanted to try a new place when on vacation. Steak was amazing and the sweet potato was perfect.
We went to Ribeyes in Tarboro Saturday night 1-13-24. The issue we had, is prices on the menu, were not the same prices on the bill. I can understand restaurants raising prices due to supply issues, but the operators have a duty to make sure the prices on the menu are the same as what us customers are charged.
Food is bland. Flavor went downhill after the ownership changed. Not the same as the other Ribeye locations. Zero seasoning on the steaks now. Zeee-row. The Bar is the only reason we keep coming back.

While on vacation and passing through we stopped in for coffee. The building was easy to find, beautiful inside and out as well as clean. Everyone from customers to barista were incredibly friendly. Love this place and the coffee.
We stopped for a quick dinner. Mike made me a special salad. I ordered the fried chicken salad and he suggested a sauce with some squeezed lemon. When he first brought it out I was a little hesitant because they cooked the cucumbers and tomatoes a ti
