Really great spot in Fort Greene. There is plenty of seating and even a community table too. Great small plates and the service is fast and friendly.
Natural wine is great. Vibe inside is warm and cozy. That said, I’ve been maybe 4 times but won’t be returning… Upon walking in, it’s unclear whether you’re supposed to seat yourself or order at the bar. No one even acknowledged me so I just sorta stood awkwardly by the door for a couple minutes. Finally caught the attention of the only bartender who said “just sit wherever”. Ok. The acoustics are poor so it’s impossible to hear the person sitting across from you. If you can get a seat outside in the summer you’ll definitely have a better experience. My main issue with this place is high prices combined with a lack of service. A $90 check (after tax and tip) for 4 glasses of wine doesn’t feel great when there is only bar service. The space is also setup with a layout that’s much more conducive to table service. The tables are packed tight and it’s hard to navigate. Better acoustics and service and this would definitely be 5 stars.
Natural but upscale neighborhood corner street wine bar with a wide selection of wines to choose from. It was packed by 5ish on a Saturday. Good place to enjoy some wine with friends and family. It is on the pricier end.
I like this place a lot! It’s got such great natural wine selection, nice and cozy atmosphere with well curated fresh delicious bites. My favorites from the menu were the marcona almonds with curry spice and za’atar seasoned labne with chicories. Definitely a lovely spot to go back to for more wine and bites! Also, they are environmentally conscious business which in my opinion is a HUGE plus!!
This place is stunning, perfect spot for a Sunday drink with friends or quiet alone time reading or writing. I love the natural lighting and various indoor and outdoor seating options. It’s definitely worth a try, and is sure to become a place you visit regularly if you’re a local.
Great ambience & good, but not excellent, natural wine list. Have to knock it for the food. Obvious that the ingredients (vegetables, charcuterie, etc) aren’t especially well-sourced. Overall a bit bland and not balanced. $24 gets you 9 small slices of bologna with three crackers. I know it’s New York but come on.. there are better value dining experiences of a similar caliber. Would come back for a bottle to enjoy the beautiful space though!
Go-to neighborhood wine bar/bistro with cozy pub vibes. The wine selection is decent, with a small but delicious selection of cold and warm plates for sharing. The space is spacious with outdoor seating, perfect for a casual night out.
Super cute spot but must do something w the acoustics it's SO loud, impossible to converse. They were also super understaffed and the staff was eating in the kitchen but in zero rush to assist customers or wipe tables down.
Came here for happy hour for my birthday and definitely did not disappoint. Taylor was very nice and the service was excellent. I love the vibe of this place. It definitely feels like youâre in the city. And I love the lighting and decors. We had t
Intimate, warm wine bar with a large selection of wines. I asked for a slightly sweeter red wine and they brought me a syrah that was a specialty wine not on the menu by the glass. It was really good. The outdoor patio is very nice with a heat lamp a

What a great addition to the neighborhood! I've visited a few times and I love the cocktails, the ambiance, and the friendly bartenders. And the food, too, especially the appetizers! My workplace had our holiday happy hour here, and The Canary team

I must say up front: besides my own impressions after enjoying this place myself, I also know the owner very well. Although, this fact only helps this review, giving a full picture. The reason behind it is that I know what the owner's values are. Amo
