Thanks to the RICFB, the Pawtucket Backpackers are able to provide supplementary food to 320+ students each week. Thank you RICFB!
This is an awesome organization. An amazing service for those in need, operated by amazing people. My company, Tuition Management Systems, organized a food drive, and the Food Bank helped make the process easy and efficient. My small part was just in delivery at the end of the drive, and everyone I interacted with was very friendly and helpful. Thank you very much for doing what you do.
Very fortunate to hear about their culinary program. Had an amazing experience interviewing as a potential older student. A great program intended to help build cooking skills, teamwork, and giving back. Excited to begin!
So this isn't a real culinary school. I think this program is designed for people that either have had some kind of life challenges or are involved in some kind of public assistance and are being forced to do something with their time. I have always been interested in acquiring professional culinary training but this program isn't for me. (I didn't want to lower their rating and being that I didn't actually attend the class so just gave 5 stars). I found it very offputting that during my interview this program offers a blend of cooking training and 'life skills' I don't need life skills. Also they said all the food they prepare goes to some kids program. So nothing gourmet is being taught. I don't believe this program offers any kind of real certification or anything. They do not offer any compensation so with full time hours how can a functioning adult attend this class? Again goes back to it being for underclass people.. They also tell you that you have to bring your lunch everyday. Um what?? In theory you're cooking food all day long WHY would I have to bring a lunch?
Great friendly staff. All delivery must use Dupont St , you will see the gate. First come first serve. Got empty in 45 min.
I went to try out the kitchen day for the culinary program. I have no prior experience in food so I was just going to get an idea of whether I'd be into it or not. I felt pressured, many people asking within the hour of my arrival whether I liked it or not. The kitchen day is long, While the current class is almost at the end of their training, I stood around clueless while others paced back and forth around me. I was expected to have the proper cutting skills to help cutting onions and while I did my best, a student showed annoyance at how I held the knife improperly. Mind you, Mev has an attitude problem. She seems very picky and demanding, my first day exploring a kitchen environment I once again felt pressured or forced into taking an automatic liking. Yeah No, I won't be going here
We were all very impressed with the organization. It not only helps to feed thousands and thousands of people, but also helps to raise confidence and train people for a future in the culinary fields and various other fields who might otherwise have not had any opportunity.
Super easy to drop off donations! Just make sure you do it before 4pm, but if you miss it by a couple of minutes and only have a box or two, they usually let you donate anyways!

Excellent coffee shopâ cool comfy decor, amazing coffee & pastries, fun specialty drinks. Only note is that I wouldnât go if youâre in a huge rush: they only had one person working today, on a weekday morning which I assume is one of the busies
Amazing food and incredible service. It was the only thing open late on a Monday and it saved the night. The spicy chicken wrap was great and the fries were superb!
Excellent experience! Absolutely loved the two staff members who helped us; Hunter and Erin. They showed us how to throw properly and hyped us up the whole time! It was so much fun. Iâll be back for sure!
We came here late Friday night for a couple drinks & apps. My friend had been here before but this was my first visit. It is deceiving from the outside, I was like are you sure that's a bar?? But once we got inside it was wonderful! Live music, with

My family and I had dinner here and it was just as close as youâre going to get to dining in Italy. The food is imported from Italy and they have an amazing wine menu, all coming from small vineyards in Italy. Thereâs no other authentic Italian w
