I really wanted a mofongo and as soon as we step in we were greeting, very nice, everything clean. Great service and team work. Drink were great is hard to fine good mojitos and with my favorite flavor, passion fruit. Food was awesome! The fried cheese with the guava sauce was spectacular and the mofongo stuffed with seafood mixed was great. Everything I wanted and was looking for. The amount of serving is good. Definitely recommended and can't wait to go back. I gave a good review last year but I am not sure what happened in a year. I wanted to go for my birthday weekend we got there at 7:37 and they said it was already closed. In the internet it says they close at 8pm they didn't even want to do take out. So I tried again and went back. Anything that I ordered to drink it was a no we don't have it; no margarita, no mojito, no piña coloda so we ended up having coke. Food was good a slitly salty the sauce. The fried cheese was oversized too Huge and the inside wasn't well cooked and was fried in a oil that I could taste "carne frita". The waitress forgot the corn stick and I ask to not bring it no more and she said if they were cook she was bringing them like it was supposed to be appetizer. We ask for desserts and she said they did not have no desserts. If is someone they know and see and are budys they get treated better.

Pretty tasty food and massive portions of Puertorrican food is what I got here! Good service and very friendly staff.

Being from out of town and been to a few PR restaurants in my lifetime. Unfortunately, the food was not as good as the reviews depicted. Thought the order came with beans and no sweet plantains either. The flan was very good! Maybe it was a slow night. The fact that what we ordered was not available and Doordash didn't take care of the difference was frustrating too. Maybe next time will be better.

pretty clean place. good food. service not so good.. server took 20 min to bring waters and ketchup and wasn’t even that busy.. prepare to spend at least an hour for simple orders

Excellent Hispanic restaurant. Food was totally awesome and all freshly made. My husband and I had the Beef turnovers (empanadas). I had the Churrasco and Shrimp Mofongo and my husband the Seafood Mofongo. Very flavorful food. They also make party trays with assorted finger foods like the Empanadas, Sorullitos ( fried corn rolls) and alcapurias( fried green plantain turnovers with ground beef). Very impressed. If you like this type of food go for it. The Coconut mojito was amazing. Other mojito flavors, Pineapple, Passionfruit., etc.

I was looking forward to eating in this establishment specially based on the reviews, however here is my experience. It started when we enter the restaurant. The lady who intercepted us didn’t even greet us but instead wave with her finger to follow her grabbed two menus and asked a waiter where to sit us. Still not having said anything to us. We ordered the “bolitas de queso” cheese balls. 15 to 20 minutes later when they arrived they were cold and we didn’t even get napkins nor utensils when I finally got the attention of a server to ask for napkins. The soda was hot and not enough ice was provided. We decided in ordering “La chuleta kan kan” not available, rice was not available. So we then ordered the “carne frita y mofongo y caldo de pollo” firstly the broth was cold, although the mofongo was flavorful it lacked chicharrones. The Carme frita was over fried and dried they didn’t even offer us any salad dressing for the salad. The music was way too load which made nearly impossible to hold a conversation. And the cost of the food in relation to the quality of the food it is too expensive. Hope they this constructive critican and improve their practice because we need Puerto Rican restaurants in this area. La casa de los sabores have much better value and selection than Mi Isla.

I walked in to order take out last week, it was ready in 15 minutes and the pina colada was phenomenal - made with fruit, not mix! With COVID, there wasn’t indoor dining, but it looked brigh and crisp. We ordered, strolled around the block for 15
