Rest and Relax Inn - Motel in Pensacola - 7200 Plantation Rd, USA

This place is outrageous! We stayed there and the accommodations were terrible but we were only staying one night so no big deal. The hotel provided us with TWO towels and TWO hand towels (no biggie). My son spilled an orange soda and we had to use a hand towel to clean it up….fast forward a few days and I realize that my 100$ security deposit has not been returned. I call and am told that they are keeping my deposit due to “heavily soiled towels”???????? So apparently they pay $100 per towel. I then called the hotel on Tuesday (after the holiday weekend) and was told the manager would not be there until THURSDAY at 10. Today comes, I call, and guess what? The manager is not there. They steal from families and I would not recommend ANYONE to stay here for any reason. They know that they are privately owned and can do this to people so they do. We stay at several hotels due to my kids sports and have NEVER had this issue or even made a complaint at any place that we have stayed. Please DO NOT book here.

I checked out early and they refused to give me my $100 deposit back I went back 2 hours later and they told me that they will not give me my deposit because I talked bad to the front desk clerk. I called the police and never showed up. They call me saying that that was a civil matter so they are not going to take that call. So this person ( the manager) knows that the police will never do everything to them so they continue to do it. I noticed too that they do this to people that don’t live there so no one can go back to get their money. Good job stealing customers money. I think they work with the police.

The absolute WORST hotel I’ve ever been to. 1st day some kid pooped on the pool deck 2nd day a kid was trying to stab people with a knife and then threw the knife at me. They had no concern of the 10+ kids at the pool without a supervisor. (That’s how a kid almost got stabbed) nothing was even done about it…. I asked to speak to a manager and nothing happened. They don’t do ANY type of house cleaning, no extra towels, toilet paper, napkins, which are basic necessities staying somewhere. They placed us next to a family of 4, screaming kids all night long… we asked to switch rooms they denied us and just told the family to “quiet down.” They also left DIRTY towels outside their room(right next door to ours) for at least 5-8 hours. We felt so disgusted the entire time. people smoking EVERYWHERE when they have a “no smoking policy.” I will never go back. AND they don’t tell you they don’t have free breakfast until the day you get there. They need to take it off the website if they don’t have it. Horrible horrible place. Also I’m 22, I’m not older and just complaining because I don’t have a life. I genuinely DO NOT RECOMMEND to anyone.

Kept our 100$ Deposit. It’s been 2 weeks Rooms smelled like weed Had Punic hair in the bed and on towels like they weren’t washed. Vomit in the trash can Broken glass in the walkway and scared out stuff was gonna get stolen because of the surroundings.. don’t stay here. Just don’t

Room fresh painted… 100 per night per room… we had problems with Aircon… if you made it warmer in the room all had become wet😀 Aircon was very lound for us Germans…toilet was shaking… but ok it was clean and about 40 minutes from the beach. Very friendly employees … pool was there but we didn’t use it

The rooms were disgusting.. The service was horrible, and they closed the pool the hour we arrived and it staid that way our entire 2 days and 2 nights. Check-in time was not til three. We arrived with reservations, room already paid for and had to pay 100.00 deposit and 20.00 for early check in. We should have been paid to stay there. It was horrible. And I better get my deposit back!

the management lady was running her mouth they took my deposit for a dirty towel is not kids friendly people be out in the pool late nights. The pool is nasty. The only good thing is the cleaners. They do a really good job. Beware do not go to this place. It’s horrible and the management suck drug addict at night time. I would never go there again again

Very misleading from pictures and descriptions on site. I believe we came under the new owners management. Nothing...I mean nothing was as advertised in the posting. Beds are full sized not Queen as described and the "Free Continental Breakfast" was unavailable...due to the fact that the cafeteria area was not open.(Renovations) Bottom line...single, traveling, and just wanting a place for a night...go ahead. Dissatisfied with overall experience for the money that was involved.
