This hotel is wonderful. When interacting with staff, we were greeted with kind warmth. The suite was modern and clean, and we slept quickly and soundly despite arriving late and usually being light sleepers. The good soundproofing and blackout curtains are much appreciated. Excellent complimentary breakfast too. We will be back if ever in the area again!

From the moment I booked this room until the time I left, the service I received was second to none. I had the pleasure of dealing with Tamika and Grace. Both of them exceeded my expectations throughout my stay. This hotel has everything you need for extended stays or single night stays. It is situated across from the Mohegan Sun Arena, many great restaurants and lots of shopping. The rooms are very spacious, clean and have every amenity you can think of. If you prefer to make your own food in the room, everything is available for you. I can't say enough good things about this property and the entire staff. If you're looking for the perfect hotel in the perfect location, I would not hesitate to recommend the Residence Inn Wilkes-Barre Arena to all my friends and family.

This is going to sound unnecessarily pretentious, but I really want to drive this point home - this is the nicest and best run “low end” hotel I have ever stayed in. The rooms are spacious and clean, the beds are comfortable, the streaming tech is actually modern, and whomever hired and trained the staff needs to be promoted. The only time I would ever expect for cleaning people to smile and ask what else I need in my room, or breakfast staff to smile and ask how I liked my breakfast (which is actually good), is at a 5 star resort, not a Residence Inn, and yet here we are. There’s a gym, a pool, an outdoor eating area with a large fire pit, and it all just works far better than it should. I have stayed in some spectacular hotels, and as a result, staying at a run of the mill Marriott or Hilton or whatever, especially in the states, is always a bit of a letdown. The rooms usually smell weird, the service is non-existent or negative, and you’re just hoping to get through it without catching something. Meanwhile, this Residence Inn in the middle of nowhere absolutely knocks it out of the park. Marriott should study this place to understand how to improve their entire line.

Great hotel. Clean and great staff. The EV charging is terrible. I paid a premium to stay here for EV charging and then I was faced with a complicated Enel X Juice box charger, installing an app, uploading credit card info to an EU website. All a bit sketchy. I gave up and decided to charge at the Tesla supercharger 0.3 miles away. I would recommend changing to a free charging station to attract clients in the future, even if just for Bonvoy members. I really don't have an incentive to pay more for less. Holiday Inn Express offers free charging.

Tameka at the front desk is super a long with all the other workers. I messed up and only booked one night when I needed two but the hotel was booked the following night. Tameka promised if a room became available she would reserve it for me and the couseled me on back up options. A room did become available! The hotel is clean and rooms were great!

We were so impressed with the service and quality of the room. It is well worth the price to stay here. We will be back on our future trips.

A relatively new Marriott property. The rooms are clean and modern with plenty of working area and outlets. the walk-in shower and bathroom was immaculate. The staff is very accommodating and friendly. The morning breakfast was delicious and attended to by a friendly staff member. I will definitely stay at this hotel when in the area again.

Pro: New facility, gym is great, they got indoor pool, spacious Marriott rooms Ok breakfast, everyone’s at this level Con: poor service, sad to see poor housekeeping eventually the new-ish feel is gonna be tarnished (checked in multiple times and for some reason given the same room..floor still has food crumbs, dirty bathroom, odor)..front desk exudes same careless service, more of a miss then a hit Location is actually good; however, when an event happens at the arena across from the property, traffic can be painful
