Residence Inn Waynesboro - Hotel in Waynesboro - 44 Windigrove Dr, USA

Had a great stay. No check-in issues. Only issue was a noisy AC unit that was vibrating enough to be an issue. The front desk clerk was obliging and moved us another room with a much quieter unit. Room was clean and well kept. Shower pressure was great. Breakfast was adequate for our needs for a 2 night stay. Definitely would stay again.

Stayed here for 1 night for our trip to Shenandoah NP. We drove up from Myrtle Beach to park and used this as overnight stay before exploring NP next day. Hotel is nice and clean and room was spacious. We had room on 3rd floor and had no issues with it. Place is close to Panera Bread and other eatery and close to entry to Skyline Drive.|Breakfast next day was good and adequate.

My family and I attended the UVA graduation exercises and stayed at the Waynesboro Residence Inn May 17-19, 2024. Overall we had a fantastic experience and would stay here again.||Rooms - While my parents stayed in an ADA studio room, my husband and I stayed in a two (2) bedroom suite with my sister and her husband. Both rooms were nice and spacious. The only issue I had was the hot water. The hot water never got hot while I was taking a shower. At times, I could tell it was trying but stayed at a lukewarm temperature. I thought it might have been the time a day when a lot of people are showering, but that wasn't the case when I took one around 5:00 am. Never had a problem with the hot water at the sinks. ||Cleanliness - From the common areas to the rooms, everything was clean and top notch.||Food - Full breakfast with a good variety. Could tell the eggs were real and not powdered, sausage, hash brown potatoes, cereals, waffles, etc. ||Customer Service - The entire staff was great, but need to give a special shout-out to Natalie. She went over and beyond to make sure our time there was to our liking and that my parents had the accommodations we requested months in advance. She is a true leader and a vital part of the Residence Inn team. ||Convenience - Right off the exit and has plenty of food choices, gas, and other amenities.

I cannot imagine that there are many better hotels in Waynesboro than this, especially for the money. ||We stayed for 9 nights and had the hot tub to ourselves everyday. The pool is not available 7-9am M-F though if you like to swim in the morning as it is closed for lessons. The gym area also looked very nice and often quiet. ||The rooms were very nice and spacious. I did not use it but the kitchen was exceptionally clean and with all the usual utilities. The shower was really powerful and bed was comfy. ||The breakfast is what you expect for free. A waffle iron would definitely improve the options. On a positive note, there are many restaurants within walking distance / 2-3 min drive. ||The main downside was the noise from a nearby Mexican restaurant that played exceptionally loud music late at night most nights. In fairness, this can probably be heard in most of the hotels in the area.

The room was quiet and spacious with a table and two chairs, sofabed and small kitchenette. The king bed was comfortable but the sofabed was not. The bathroom had plenty of counter space and the shower worked well. A/C worked well, there was convenient parking, and the hotel is in a good location near the highway.

Great location, close access to good restaurants, etc .. Residence Inn staff were exceptional!! Polite, pleasant, efficient, helpful and willingness to help. Charles in the breakfast crew is a true inspiration and joy to be around. Breakfast was delicious!! Well prepared, setup up and delivered efficiently!!

I am a lifetime Titalium Elite (highest Bonvoy level) 1. A/C did not work properly in room - very hot 2. Bathroom sink would not drain 3. Toilet would flush but would make a very loud squeezing noise for several min after waking everyone 4. Significant black mold at top of shower (just above tiles) 5. One of the beds had a “hole” or “soft spot” that made it very uncomfortable to sleep on (back is still bothering me) 6. At check-in they told us the wrong time breakfast ran until, so we missed it. 7. We arrived very late and had called ahead for a pack-in-play to be in our room. It was not there and took a very long time to get one… while having a overtired child that needed to sleep and having no safe place to put them down. They unsuccessfully tried to fix the A/C but none of the other items were even attempted to be fixed while we were there. The checkout lady could care less when we went over these items with her. We will not be back.

My wife booked a one night stay here and we had several issues with the hotel. The card reader wasn’t working at check in and we had to fill out some paper forms. Also, the AC in the room did not work and the on call maintenance manager had to be called and the unit replaced. Two hours later we had AC, no apologies from management. Also the room had previous damage presumably from a cat, (carpet pulls and furniture had pulls in them) the living room chair was covered in stains and wallpaper in the kitchen had been pulled off in large sections. Lastly but probably more importantly, we personally witnessed the manager being rude and unprofessional to the desk clerk twice.
