Residence Inn Wayne - Hotel in Wayne - 30 Nevins Rd, USA

FInally a NJ hotel that has everything that you need. great location, quiet, good working AC, Clean and the ENTIRE staff was very helpful and friendly. No need to look elsewhere. Kudos to front desk Bankee Stewart that always will greet you with a warm smile and help with whatever you need. Not easy to find a hotel that has all, this one does.

Nice and clean Hotel in a nice area. Rooms are nice and big. Beds are very comfortable. Furniture is all new and very comfortable. Bathrooms are adequate. Shower has lots of hot water. Only negative is the noise from other rooms. Very noisy. People slamming doors and talking very loud.

I honestly do not know where to start. My wife and I recently had our wedding and partnered the management that works with the Hilton and the Residence Inn. We first worked with Fran by blocking rooms for our guests. Fran took days to respond even after multiple emails and voicemails. We randomly stopped hearing from Fran and started to work with Destinee. Same story, it took multiple voicemails and emails just to get in contact with them. We then signed a contract for blocking 10 rooms for our guests. The contract states that after 8 rooms we would have a complementary room for my wife and I. This was a mess because everytime our guest would try to reserve a room under our name, it would never go under the block. We tried sorting this out with Destinee and she ensured us that it was a glitch. By some miracle we were able to get 8 guests before the deadline. Shortly after, we received an email stating that we now need 10 rooms instead of 8 to guarantee our complementary room. We thought this was sketchy since we already agreed on the 8 guest but we were able to find two more people. Even after meeting the guest requirement, we still had trouble getting our room. We had to argue and convince the front desk on our wedding night to give us our complementary room on the contract. The front desk was very helpful, but she showed us that magically a lot of the blocked/reserved rooms were not in the system for our guest. This is extremely unprofessional and sketchy. Finally I booked a makeup room for my wife to get ready with her bridesmaids. This was done in the Hilton. First, we were given a contract for the room and makeup. Thank God I caught the detail before signing, they wanted to charge us a 50 person breakfast for 2 thousand dollars when it was only for 15 people. Second downfall was the agreed time for the room. We signed for 7:30am to 2pm. They kicked out my wife and her bridesmaids at 12:30 claiming the contract said 6am to 12. When she requested to see the contract we signed, they ignored the request and my wife had to finish getting ready in the lobby bathroom for her wedding. This is absolutely disgusting. Overall, if you are booking this hotel (Hilton or Residence Inn) for an event or any other special occasion, don't even bother. They will try to scam you in little ways and they are extremely unprofessional when it comes to customer service. I am extremely disappointed and we hope our review saves you or someone the pain we went through.

My husband and I travel a great deal on business and pleasure. I have to say this place is an absolute GEM. I almost don't want to rate it because then I may not be able to get a room again, because it will be completely booked. Yet I must, the staff was absolutely AMAZING. They are so accommodating. There wasn't anything that they couldn't help us with. No question was too big or too small. Most of all, they did everything with a smile! The rooms were very clean! I always do my own cleaning when I stay in hotels. This one didn't need a second cleaning. (My tests are the fridge, microwave, toilet, and headboard on the bed) they were all clean and dust free. There was a good amount of breakfast options. The food was fresh and delicious. This is only the second hotel that I have eaten their complimentary breakfast. So, that says a lot!!!! Keep up the great work!!! To: Marriot, please send all future employees to this location for training!!!! This location got it right!

This hotel is pet-friendly 🐕 and still very clean. The location is a bit off-the-road, so the serenity brings chipmunks, rabbits, and deers strolling about. There's plenty of parking no matter what time you arrive. I enjoyed the indoor pool/hot tub and the garden patio, especially appreciated the 24-hour laundry room on the 2nd floor ($2 coin operated). The lobby has Tide powder detergent for $2 each, but if you need more, FYI - ShopRite is a 5 minute drive. Shout-out to the concierge Bankee; she is an absolute gem and truly knows the heart of hospitality. Any time there was an issue, Bankee empathized and actively provided a resolution. Her genuine work ethic left a warm impression to continue choosing Residence Inn Wayne when visiting the NJ area.

2nd stay here, it will be our last. Mattress was horrible. We were above the "outdoor" grill area. People there till midnight, cooking, carrying on with no respect to the guests. I let the front desk know, they said that people are only allowed in that area till 9pm. I did email the manager the next morning, but 4 days later I never heard back from the hotel and don't expect to at this point.

Just skip it and go to the Hilton. Not only did they not fix the noise complaints that were every night, they decided not to extend our stay with out letting us know in advance. They had people throwing parties but god forbid we have dogs where it’s supposed to be dog friendly. Some staff (probably 2 people) were actually nice and helpful. Everyone else was just rude as hell. The manager is incompetent, they need to replace her. Smh believe me I didn’t want to even stay here. We only did because of an emergency. And we NEVER want to stay here ever again.

The stay was pleasant and the staff were wonderful and very kind , Bankeey was an awesome help ! I will be back for my next stay !
