Residence Inn Waco - Featured Reviews (441)
The room was not bad looking, kind of dated. The bed was sloppily made: comforter on unevenly, not fully tucked at the foot of the bed, wrinkled sheets. The baseboards in the bathroom needed a good scrub, and there was some of the pink bacteria growing in the corner where the wall meets the tub. The hallways smelled like a very sweaty lockeroom. My room did not smell. Overall, I was pretty grossed out and tried to move to a newer Residence Inn. Being a Bovoy member, I was unimpressed that they could not help me. The front desk workers were VERY kind and friendly. The breakfast was good.
Older hotel, thin walls, dated bathrooms. But, a great shower with clean and spacious rooms. The breakfast was a typical continental and the people working the desk and breakfast area were friendly and very nice. Great location for Waco events.
Located downtown so it's close to all the things to do. Staff was friendly and knows the area and give great tourist recommendations. Also has small indoor pool! Room was beautiful and very clean. It doesn't appear to be much, but it's very homey.
It’s an older Residence Inn, but very quiet, and in a great location within walking distance of the Magnolia set up by Chip and Joanna Gaines. It’s also only a couple of minutes’ drive to some decent restaurants and breweries. If you’re into Baylor University athletics, it’s a pretty quick drive to those venues, too.
The free breakfast was amazing, Cocoa did an excellent job of doing more than the standard “scrambled eggs and pork” products. She put together some wonderful little frittatas for us on the morning I was there. Check-in was easy, and I would gladly stay here again.
I showed up late after a delayed flight for checking in, and I waited outside of the locked facility for 40 minutes repeatedly calling the front desk. Once finally let in, my key card was not working after several attempts at the staff fixing my ID. I would rather not stay here again after the poor experience and customer service. The poor service may have been due to the night shift, so I would be open to staying again; however, my experience was so bad that I had to leave a review.
Positive: The staff made it extremely easy. The hotel is located in a prime location, and the room was spacious and clean would very easily stay here again. Negative: Very happy with the overall experience Negative: ""
While the hotel itself is very nice, the roads surrounding the property are a construction nightmare. When we arrived the hotel was experiencing a power outage due to the construction, and we could not get checked in for several hours till power came back. Once checked in the front desk staff told us that WiFi was available. Unfortunately that was untrue and in addition, tv and the room phone was also dead. Wi-Fi did come back online late that evening, but way too late to do us any good. Residence Inn is usually a good brand, but this location was a real disappointment.
I understand everyone's experience will be different, but mine personally was wonderful. Not only was the room very nice, but the staff was wonderful. I left a piece of jewelry in the hotel room that was very important to me, and the staff went above and beyond in helping to ship it back to me. They were so easy to talk to and so helpful. Close to things, and easy to walk to the Silos. Hotel overall is a little dated, but nothing that wouldn't make us want to stay there again. I truly believe having a great staff makes all the difference in your experience, and this hotel has that nailed down.
Green Door Lofts and the host, Jim, were amazing. The loft is centrally located with garage parking should you need it but it is within walking distance to plenty of shopping and dining. The loft was well appointed and stocked with comfortable living
This place was amazing to stay, eat, relax and hang out after a long drive!!! We checked in, our room was very clean and had everything we needed, including a kitchen. After a 14 hour drive it was very nice to unwind on the couches in the lobby, sna

The PHO here is amazing!! Holy cow yummy. I also tried the grilled pork bowlâit reminds me of Vietnamese vermicelli, but here itâs served warm. The âhouseâ fish sauce with it is very mild flavored. The menu only has a few items, but it all se
