For our family of five, the 2 bedroom suite has worked out really well for us. We've stayed here twice because we like having the extra room, extra bathroom, the kitchenette, and the sofa sleeper. The staff are very nice, the beds are comfortable ( the sofa sleeper, not so much), and the breakfast. My biggest complaint would be no coffee available after breakfast, which I've enjoyed at other Marriott hotels. They do have coffee in the room, but only enough for 2 small cups. It sounds nit-picky, but it's a big deal for us coffee lovers.

Stayed here for 1 night on a short business trip and it was a large room, relatively quiet and including a decent sized bathtub for a nice soak. Complimentary breakfast had quite a decent variety and was more than sufficient.

Nice size kitchenette with full a size refrigerator. Our room had doors that closed off the main area from the bedroom, was nice and quiet, and clean. Breakfast was included, it was ok, several things to choose from. We will stay there again next time we are in Salt Lake over night.

This place I have to say, is probably the best hotel I have stayed at in my entire life! The service was exceptional, the rooms were very clean! The room we stayed in had that new and clean smell to it! Every person on the staff we interacted with were extremely kind and helpful! The first lady at the front desk, Dani I think is her name I want to give a shout out to for making us feel so welcome and happy about our stay there! We originally stayed at a different hotel on our trip to salt lake that turned out to be a nightmare, and Dani went and above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of, especially because we left the nightmare as early and quickly as we could. Everyone on the staff really did a great job! This hotel was a complete breath of fresh air for me and my family! A very good place to stay if you have little ones too! The location is in a good and clean part of town, too, and so we felt very safe here! The pool was nice and warm, and seemed pretty clean too, you can get in it without that omg cold feeling, was nice to just jump in and play! The breakfast staff were amazing too! We have a little one with allergies and they were very kind about it and checked the foods for us. I honestly cannot say enough nice things to do this place justice! The truth is, it was so nice that we even ended up extending our stay an extra night, just so we could enjoy our vacation just a little bit longer. The next time we go to Salt Lake, I don't care if we'll be doing more stuff north of sandy, we will be staying at this hotel again! 100 stars if I could give more than the 5! Just returned home after a one-night stay at this hotel for a family event. We got a great rate through Expedia, the check-in was pleasant and efficient, and when we got to our room it appeared very nice from the door so we were pleased with our choice at that moment. However, when going into the bathroom area there was an odor of mildew, the bathtub faucet was leaking, the paint was peeling and the wallpaper was stained and peeling badly, the ceiling fan vent was so disgustingly dirty - the entire bathroom was very unsightly! We were only there one night and would be away from the room to a family event for several hours, so did not complain. When we returned from our event - exhausted from a day of travel and the event - we were so looking forward to a good night’s sleep. But, the beds were not comfortable, especially the pullout sofa-bed. Then the people in the room above us were very noisy - sounded like grown people having races and playing games. This noise kept us awake far into the night, and then around 4:00 am we were again awakened by talking and laughing which got progressively louder. At first we thought it was the people above us again, but soon realized it was coming from the courtyard/firepit area right outside our first floor room. This continued until 6:00 am when they finally dispersed. The most discouraging part of this entire stay was when I tried to call the front desk to see if anything could be done about the noise in the courtyard and no one answered! I tried twice and let it ring a very long time both times - but nothing! I would never consider staying here again. It’s hard to believe Marriott can’t do better than this with room maintenance and front desk responsiveness!

I stayed here after a surgery and was pleasantly surprised. The bed was very comfy, the couch & kitchen were awesome. It needs a little touch up on the carpet, but other than that, super good hotel. Enjoyed the stay.

Lovely. Very clean. Staff were amazing. Great rooms and breakfast. My only critique and its minor is that the bathroom could use an update.

I didn't take a lot of pics of our room, just our little kitchen area. We also had a sort of living room which was nice. We picked this because it's right across the street from the Hale Center Theater and it actually made that aspect of our trip super easy! No finding a parking place! The trip back was slightly more concerning as everyone was exiting the theater and trying to cross that little road was a little bit more dicey but still very doable (you just need to use common sense and not dart in front of moving vehicles, some vehicles may be turning so you just need some awareness of what's going on around you). The staff was all super nice, and our room was comfortable. The only trouble was the room was pretty warm and took a while to cool at night, but it wasn't a deal breaker by any means. If we were staying another night we'd probably get the thermostat turned down a little earlier. I think the location is really good. Close to a lot of things, especially if you're not looking to stay in actual Salt Lake City. Salt Lake is super close, but other attractions like the aquarium are also very close. Ocean Mart is just down the street if you need to do some Asian shopping before heading home. This may very well become our hub for any future shows we see at Hale Center Theater!
