Residence Inn Reading - Hotel in Wyomissing - 45 Berkshire Ct, USA

This hotel is in a great location in Reading. It has nice space in the rooms. Compared to other Residence Inns, it is definitely bare bones. There was just a couch in the living area, no end tables, coffee table/ ottoman/lamps. Very few dishes, glasses, no mugs for a long term stay. Overhead lights were very dim- we were told all 1 bedroom ones are, only 2 bedrooms have bright lights. Housekeeping only if you ask 24 hours in advance. Breakfast was adequate, same every day, no variety, nothing special. Getting charged $3 a day to park in a residential lot is absurd.

The room was clean. However, it was missing a lot of stuff we kept having to ask for, or trek downstairs to get ourselves. No hairdryer, only 1 decaf coffee pack & nothing else, remote didn't work, nothing to wash dishes with, almost empty paper towels with no extra, only 2 glasses, no ice trays & no soap in the bathroom. Water pressure in the shower was so low that it took forever to rinse. Very loud upstairs, someone's kids were running up and down hallways at 10 pm, complaining to the front desk to no avail. Cigarette butt's everywhere by the front door, mostly it was the employees out there smoking from what we saw. Definitely not the cleanest front.

My friend and I had a interesting stay. As soon as we checked in the guy didn't tell us about any times regarding breakfast, pool, bar etc., was open. He had very little communication with us. He told me to swipe my card without telling me why im swiping my card. He wasnt very friendly at all. When me and my friend got our room. The bed had stains on it and i let the front desk know about it and the lady who brung us the keys to our new room seemed like she had a attitude. We get to the new room and there was a oder and the toilet was stopped up…Honestly didn’t have a good experience and the staff wasn't friendly.

First time at the Residence Inn in Wyomissing. The facility appears new and was clean, which we appreciated. The bed was comfy, but the lighting in the room was bad, particularly the bathroom. The biggest issue was that we heard the people on the floor above us late into the night and early morning. It seemed like they were exercising up there and jumping up and down. At approx. $200 a night, I don't want to be kept awake by noise due to inadequate insulation between floors. I would be looking to book a different hotel as my first choice on the next visit,

Had 2 mysterious charges of $6 and one of $.01 post on my credit card a week after my stay here. Called the hotel, left voicemail, emailed corporate. Was told someone from accounting at the hotel would be in contact with me. Weeks have passed and have not been contacted. Reached out to corporate Marriott again. Nothing.. Filed dispute.

I am here now!! Not only does our room have an odd smell but They gave me sheets with mold or some sort of stain! We are in the king suite which usually isn’t a problem having a kiddo sleep on the pull out couch however why this hotel thinks that is a suitable place for anyone to sleep is beyond me! Staff are overwhelmed and rude as we are here for a larger event being held at The Santander! Oh the best part is because it’s booked you get to pay double what this place is actually worth! Oh and as if I haven’t already over paid I just returned from Walmart with an air mattress so my kid would have a decent place to rest his head tonight!!! Oh and good luck getting your room to a decent temperature!!!

Sold at higher rating than really worth. Management unfriendly. I am a member of Bonvoy for sometime now. I wanted to have my guest check in several hours before me , my plane arrived after midnight , well that was an ordeal, i and my guest felt like we were some sort of ill intentioned individuals for making such a request and after numerous hours and phone calls (mostly unpleasant) with the management, we finally made it. I was denied the publicized electronic cell phone key, I was told I was not an old enough member to be eligible. One of two days after check in I received the key), a little too late! The sofa bed in the room had no sheets and blankets. The room had no safe. Very nice area of reading, mediocre hotel.

Came Here Today On 8|10 Gorgeous Rooms Nice People Work Here. Super Blessed And Happy To Be Here This Weakened Super Clean And Kinda Pricey For A Good Reason Thanks!.
