We had a good experience at this hotel. I agree it’s outdated and could use an update but our room was clean which is very important to us. We travel a lot and understand that there will always be wear and tear which by the way the people staying at these hotels contribute towards. As long as it’s safe and clean I can deal with the room for a few nights. |The breakfast was very good. Nice variety of items. Loved all of the oatmeal toppings and cold brew coffee…yes please. Very clean and well stocked.

It’s a hotel. It’s old. There is no pool anymore. The breakfast is nothing special. The room is a nice size as all residence inns are. There were some odd stains on the couch. Convenient drive away from a lot of museums and activities. You can walk to Olive Garden or the Harvest restaurant. Harvest was very good and in the parking lot of this hotel. Gym is very very small and old equipment.

Very nice stay. Staff was good and accommodating. However, rooms were very old. Marriott really needs to invest in updating these older properties across America. But definitely better than the previous property I had just left.

No bar of soap in bathroom to wash hands— luckily, I had one in my travel bag. Upon check-in, I asked for housekeeping service since we were staying 2 nights. My husband also requested housekeeping at the front desk when he went for coffee downstairs the morning of our second day. We we gone most of that day, returning after 4 pm. After repeated, unanswered calls to the front desk, I went downstairs where 2 staff people were busy on their phones, ignoring me. After about 2 minutes, I loudly said “hello”. I stated that we, minimally, needed fresh towels & washcloths. One staff member asserted that “housekeeping wasn’t finished and then was argumentative when I suggested that an apology was in order instead of an argument. We had a dinner reservation, so we left. No clean towels in our room when we returned. My husband went down to the desk with our dirty towels and returned with clean towels. As a Titanium Bonvoy member, for many years, we’ve stayed extensively in Marriott properties throughout N. America, Europe & Asia. This is the worst Marriott property (with the most surly staff) that we’ve experienced anywhere in the world. It’s appalling that there appears to be no training about the way one should treat guests. Moreover, no one answering the front desk phone is a safety issue!

For the price, the room was huge!!! The bathtub drained slowly but other than that, it was perfect. the microwave was a good addition to the room. Breakfast was good, good amount of variety.

First room smelled of mold so bad, I didn't even walk past the doorway. But, the fabulous woman at the desk apologized and got me into a different room. Second room smelled also but, not half as bad as the first. TV had smears all over it from (what I hope to be) a young child with a gooey something or other and I'll leave the cleanliness of the bathroom up to your imagination 🤢 I later ran outside to grab something from my car and was met by a couple of skunks (not blaming anyone for the nature). So, I start walking down to the next entrance and felt like I was staring in the next Friday the 13th movie 😱

The bad reviews I read prior to going made me concerned. I was shocked and thrilled that my experience was nothing like the reviews. While my room could use some cosmetic updating, it was extremely clean and was well equipped. The staff was exceptional and the free breakfast had a lot of options and was very good. I will definitely stay again. In fact I rebooked a room for this Saturday night.

Dont stay here!!!! Desk clerk acting like we were bothering him when we tried to check on. First room we had. Toilet wouldn't flush properly. Sink drained slow. Carpet was ripped on 2 places. Moved us to 2nd room. No blow dryer. Went to front desk at 9:30. Nobody around. Had to call on rhe phone. 11 pm still no hair dryer Shower was a handicap shower. Shower wand kept sliding down the mount. Big chips on the tub. Exhaust fan is so loud , sounds like its going to fall out of ceiling. The whole place is dated. Needs renovation. Very disappointing for the $169 / night price. I stayed in Harrisburg the day before in a room I paid same price. That place was fantastic. Newly renovated
