Great location right in New Rochelle. Very walkable. Super friendly service, edible breakfast and generally solid.
Rooms are quite generous in size. Hotel is aging just a little, but clean throughout.
Staff is very pleasant and competent.
Only knock is that walls are a bit thin. Any lively conversation next door or in the hall comes through pretty loud.
Love the location more than anything. Close to lots of good eateries, pharmacy, movie theater, public transportayion and more. The accommodations are dated and in need of upgrading. Little pricey for an older hotel. Definitely would stay because of location. Please be prepared to clean your room prior to staying because housekeeping is lacking.
I gave it one star because of the pricing and parking fees. I stayed four days and three nights, the pool was out of service the whole time. The machine in the laundry room was out of order the whole time. The 10th floor breakfast area, the juice machine was out of order. Poor selection of breakfast items, packaged sandwiches. The best thing about this place, was the working staff very nice and courteous. I give them five stars.
Stayed at this hotel for 3 nights as my friend from Alaska came to visit. A great hotel right smack in the middle of Downtown New Rochelle, a lot of restaurants and a movie theater just a walk away, it’s very convenient!
Outdoor pool was closed for construction for some time, but it was back open when we stayed August 21- 24th 2024. Sadly we never used the pool because it was too cold out during our stay and water was freezing…
Guest parking at this hotel is $20 a night in the New Roc City garage, nearby street parking is possible but having to feed the meters and following sign rules is annoying as well… at that point the $20 a night might be worth it instead of the hassle.
We stayed at the residence inn for a wedding in the area and were disappointed. ||The Wi-Fi was poor. We are bonvoy members are still could not get consistent Wi-Fi. ||The pool is under construction. This was not noted on the website, at the checkin, on the signs in the elevators or on the TVs. The area around the pool wasn’t very nice for sitting and disappointed that the pool was not available. ||The breakfast was adequate, but not great. It would have been better if it opened at 6 am on weekdays rather than 6:30. Coffee was available 24 hours, but breakfast. We did not use the pantry. ||Parking is available but a little difficult to access when the movie theater is busy.
I will not stay in this location again. I have a large truck and a lot of equipment. The parking for my vehicle isn't easy and the instructions for parking were not clear. It is a hassle to get everything to your room from where I had to park.
For as nice as this hotel could be it's lacking in things that could make it great. Service and amenities could be a lot better.
I checked in for 1 night with a family of 4 in a 1BR suite as we were in town for a wedding. Came back to the hotel and unfolded the pullout sofa and it wasn't made. Went into the closet and found a bag consisted on a top sheet, a bottom sheet and 1 pillow for 2 people. I called down and was told by the front desk that there are no more blankets and pillows. I asked how we're supposed to sleep without a blanket and he didn't have an answer other than "we can deal with it tomorrow". Amazing response when a) people need blankets to sleep and b) I'm only staying 1 night. They also don't care about status whatsoever. Some staff gave us water, others said the property doesn't give. The next day I spoke with the Front Desk Manager Jeanie who was nice and told me that I would be credited with the stay and the General Manager would call me. It's been 5 weeks and I have not seen a credit nor have I heard from the GM. Shame on you Residence Inn New Rochelle!
The room is clean and quiet. Front desk told me I had an upgrade but I didn't see any difference in the room. Maybe they just say that to make you feel better. The breakfast is terrible, some of the worst I have had. Don't expect too much. For the price, bit too bad for the location.
My wife and I recently stayed at the Radisson No-Ma Hotel in New Rochelle for two nights. We were in town for a wedding. If you need to be in the area for business or pleasure the location is good, close to all the highways. The rooms are less than i
