Residence Inn Milwaukee West - Hotel in Wauwatosa - 1300 Discovery Pkwy, USA

This was a fairly great visit. We were greeted by a friendly person, the room was clean and comfortable, and breakfast the next morning was good. We just had the one bedroom king suite had a full kitchen with a dishwasher. Breakfast included some breakfast sandwiches turkey sausage eggs fruit pastry items and some oatmeal. We went for a Brewer baseball game and it was conveniently located maybe 15 to 20 minutes from the stadium.

Spent 2 nights there recently and we were pleased overall. Room was quiet (3rd floor). Included breakfast had a good variety of items. Great coffee! I'm on a low cholesterol diet and they have almond milk! Yay! Also the 2 ladies at the desk (Nadia and Julia) were extremely helpful and friendly! Will stay there again.

This place is amazing.. And what makes it amazing is all the great people that work here. They have become my friends. I've been here for a week and a half with a family member in the hospital. They always say hello and ask me how I'm doing. And the staff that cleans the rooms are also amazing. They're a great team. The fire pit is worth checking out. Amazing staff! The breakfast is pretty amazing too and appreciated.

I travel to Wauwatoso frequently staying 5-7 days at a time. I have been to other hotels but keep coming back to this one. For an extended stay, this has become my go to. The rooms are clean and modern. The beds are super comfortable. The staff, especially the person prepping breakfast are friendly and helpful. Speaking of breakfast, they have a nice variety that is hot and tasty. If there is a downside to staying here, would say there is always some little irksome maintenance issue, this time the icemaker wasn't working in our fridge and we had to go to the first floor for ice from the machine. Minor issues aside, if you need to be close to MCW and its hospitals or just want to hang in Tosa, I will recommend the Residence Inn. Who knows you may see me there.

Awesome Marriott location! I was able to apply a gift card to the purchase with no hassle and was greeted each time I entered the property no matter the hour. Clean facilities and the breakfast was well maintained and satisfactory.

I believe they just completed a renovation. It is a very nice hotel with a great view. I would definitely stay here again. If you’re going to a Brewers game or a concert at American Field, this is the place to stay.

We took the family to the Milkwaukee Zoo and wanted a room that had plenty of space for young kids. We got a king suite and it was the perfect set up! Having a full fridge and real dishes and silverware was great for a family's worth of leftovers. The continental breakfast was also pretty great, with lots of hot breakfast options! We did have a couple complaints though. One of the requirements we had when choosing a hotel was a pool. Well, they had one but I couldn't stand to be in it more than a few minutes. 2 of our children braved the cold (along with my husband so they could be supervised) but their lips were purple when they got out and they didnt last long.... it was very disappointing. Also, there was a very rowdy family with 8 kids, that the mom basically just dropped her kids in the pool area and let them run wild. They were very rowdy and a few of them were way too young to be left at a pool unsupervised. A couple other families, including ours, eventually left after being constantly splashed or having to tell them to stop doing things (like put hotel chairs in the pooll). We told the front desk and they said they would take care of it. The next morning the kids wanted to hit the pool again. We figured it would be better, after the staff had been made aware. The same family was there again, with the mom present, but she wasn't keeping them in line... instead she was taking videos of them slip and sliding across the pool deck into the pool on towels. The entire pool floor was soaked. All the towels were gone. I had figured they would be told they weren't allowed in the pool anymore, but obviously that wasn't the case. We left the pool again after that and didn't return until they were all gone, about an hour before checkout.... for a short swim because the kids *really* wanted to swim. Other than that family and the hotel's handling of the situation and the coldness of the pool, though, we would definitely give it another shot. They were doing a lot of remodeling on the first floor so I'm hopeful pool heater improvements may be included in that? because we really did like our room! And the location was in a safe part of town, as far as we could tell.
