We really enjoyed our stay here at the Residence Inn. The staff were incredibly helpful and accommodating. The place was very clean and extremely well maintained. We totally recommend this place to anyone looking for a nice, well priced and enjoyable vacation hotel!

The hotel is beautiful, the hospitality is great, and our room was nice and clean. The breakfast bar was decent, loved that there was fresh spinach on the breakfast bar. There is a poolside bar/restaurant, the food is good. Overall no complaints .

The resort is not collocated from the beach but a 3-5 mins walk. The hotel is not run very professionally although we appreciated Miriam on the front desk who was working very hard to help guests. Front desk always had big lines which left us wondering if they are short of staff. The rooms were average ( the phone and television didn’t work) but we appreciated that they refreshed them every day. We expected better from a Marriott run hotel.

We just spent 5 nights at the residence marriott surfside and overall it was a great stay. Check in was seemless and we were promply given a room on the first floor. Initially I thought it would be noisy since the window faced Collins however it turned out to be very quiet. The room was well appointed with a king sized bed, full sized fridge, microwave and dishwasher. The bathroom had a shower only, no tub but that was perfect for us.|At check In we were given a card for towels and beach chairs and 5 vouchers for a $30 credit usable at the restaurant and bar. We used the vouchers every day and that provided lunch or supper. Breakfast was included and had the usual fixings : toast, bagels, eggs, bacon, sausage, cereal, yogurt, jam, coffee, tea, milk and chocolate milk. If i were to make a suggestion it would be to have more fruit available, the choices were either apples, bananas or oranges in rotation.|Housekeeping was good, although we kept our room clean and made our own bed. The pool on the third floor was great and had lots of lounge chairs and cabanas. The restaurant had the same menu as the bar ; there was something for everyone including us vegetarians.|One person who really stood out in terms of service was Tomic, his official title is bellman but he was so much more than that. He was always helping with clearing tables and finding seats for guests in the crowded breakfast area, giving us beach chairs and towels whenever needed and of course helping with luggage and transportation. He always offered service with a smile and his strong work ethic shone through. |The only complaint was that when I was checking out i noticed that they hadn’t credited all 5 vouchers even though I had always handed them in when ordering. This was promptly rectified when I pointed it out. That was the only thing in an otherwise very pleasant stay. The hotel is across the beach and a block from the community centre with its large pool, lap pool and wading pool (access is free with a letter from the front desk).|The hotel is also 2 blocks from the lively Harding Street with its numerous shops and restaurants, including many kosher restaurants. Bal harbour shops is a 15 minute walk. There was also a bus stop a few feet away and we used that to get to and from Aventura mall.|All in all I would definitely stay here again.

The property is clean and well maintained. There is a nice pool area above the parking deck which is cozy and intimate. There is decent selection for the included breakfast daily. Hotel is only a small block away from beach/ocean (and lounge chair and towels are provided upon request). Good and friendly services by all from the front desk (Mariam), breakfast ladies, housekeeping folks and the bar tenders. Thanks so much in particular to Tomic for patiently helping my family adjusting the bikes and gave us good advice on traffic conditions.

We are happy with the service and the parking, the lady in the front desk, I don't remember her name, but she are amazing and give a few tips for enjoy the crazy weather with our little girl. Always the lobby are clean and good smell, the room service always provided all you need for your stay, so helpful.🤗🤗🤗 in just minutes walk you have a supermarket with all you can need. The outdoor areas have beautiful palm trees🌴 offer shade and privacy between rooms🥰

I'd like to give a higher overall star rating as the hotel was clean and location was great just across the street from the beach however the "destination fee" soured my stay here. I booked with points and it explicitly states "taxes and fees included" however the hotel even seeing this on the app added a $33 destination fee which includes a free $30 voucher for food. I felt obligated to use this voucher but it just adds additional costs because they then add gratuity and tax the voucher and I could have gotten better quality food at 7-11 for a fraction of the cost.

Worst Residence Inn experience, a lot of hidden fees that we did not expect! According to Expedia Bill breakdown, we are only supposed to pay the destination fee but ended up paying more than that! 50 dollar security deposit each day you stay and you are force to use 30 dollar coupon for their restaurant which im not sure if they are gonna deduct that from the deposit because the receptionist couldnt explain it right because she’s not fluent in English. Their hotel restaurant charged us 18% restaurant room charge even though we pick up the food from them! Another disappointed experience was we ordered a wings and when we got it, container was empty with only crumbs on it and staff was even blaming us that we probably ate it already? Ridiculous! did not even replace it nor gave our money back! We also need to remind them on our third day to clean our room because they forgot to clean it on our second day! Also be careful on their bath tub, it is ridiculously slippery and not safe for the kids! We also need to pay 38 per day for the parking lot which are really expensive! This hotel only cares about money and not the experience of their guests!Would not recommend and would not come back here again!

Flanigans is something you have to see to believe, it's an oasis of cheap drinks and godlike service in the area. The deals are insane and you can drink like a fish for a few bucks. I recommend pints of the Joe's pale ale during a 2-7pm special on a

I dove with H2O a couple times and highly recommend them. They are small but extremely good. Especially if you are a more experienced diver and you had enough of the tourist trap dive centers, go with H2O! Tip: Ask for the shark dive.

Great service! The waitress was attentive but not hovering. Very authentic. Delicious food! Seems reasonably priced for the area. Had the rib-eye steak and fettuccine.
