We stayed here a couple of weeks ago with our children and small dog. I get that we have a dog and we were placed in an obvious “pet room” but they charge around $100 for a pet cleaning fee. Granted my pet pretty much stayed in his kennel besides eating and going outside partially because he feels safe in there but there was literal dog hair and obvious pet soiling stains all over the furniture. I didn’t even feel comfortable sitting on the any of it. There were nasty things lurking everywhere. There was a missing piece of cabinet under the sink and I could see food and debris in there so it’s obvious that’s never cleaned either. Every scrap of furniture had stains, hair, crumbs and other questionable dried white substances on the chair under the desk. If I have to pay this “cleaning fee” I expect the room to be clean for me and my family to use. Also the phone didn’t work, the automated room darkening shades were broken I literally almost used an entire container of Clorox wipes in there. We left that room much cleaner than the condition it was given to us in.
Very clean great location lots of amenities. Big spacious room comfortable bed room was pretty much soundproof. I see some reviews complaining of the bathroom fan noise. I like having a fan, just shut the door? Tons of stores and restaurants nearby. Great mall within walking distance. Pool was nice. Breakfast was standard Marriott. Staff was friendly. Definitely stay again when in the area. Overall great hotel and great stay.
Amazing hotel, wonderful service. Ms. Rachel specifically was so kind and sweet. I asked for an extra pillow, a razor, and two tooth brushes, and she went above and beyond providing me with extra pillows, shaving cream, and extra tooth paste. She was also well dressed and made the hotel so comfortable for me and my friends. Breakfast was also quite delicious as well.
Good night have had a nicer room. Clean, well appointed suite. Front desk staff was super kind and recommended a great restaurant. It turned out that the bill was mishandled, but eventually we got that straightened out. All in all, very pleasant — rooms were quiet, even though there was a gaggle of teens present (from a wrestling tournament close by).
The best part of our experience at this hotel was the front desk staff. Jessica Jones went out of her way to make sure that we had a nice stay. She was kind, efficient, and corrected a billing mistake made by a third party booking agent. Marriot is lucky to have this employee. The hotel was clean, the rooms were large, and the breakfast was good. Great place for an overnight stay.
Positive: Location was great for our trip, and we always love Residence Inn Suites - does not feel like a 'hotel room'. Negative: Right next to a busy road - but we were not disturbed at all by any road noise.
Excellent place to relax overnight. Right across from the shopping mall and with good restaurants around the area. Nice spacious, updated rooms , clean, with various amenities. I loved the mini kitchen with pots and utensils to cook my breakfast. The large desk used for business and fast WiFi made my time in the room pleasant. The king size bed and large tv didn’t hurt either. I’ll book this hotel for my next stay.
The GM turned a mediocre experience into a terrible one. I checked in with my dog and was not told about a pet fee. Back story is I called three hotels in the area about pet fees and this hotel did not have a pet fee so I told the person to reserve the room. She reserved it and told me the rate. We chatted for a few minutes as she told me the different types of animals that stayed there. I checked in and we had a conversation about the preferred floor. I told her my dog doesn't like elevators so we can't be too high, and I hate the first floor, so let's select the 2nd floor. We had a conversation about preferred floor. |The room was clean but there were visible signs of low quality maintenance. I don't have any complaints about the room and the wifi worked well. Breakfast was packaged sandwiches, oatmeal and a few other items. |When I checked out, I gave the key back and said send the receipt to the email on file. When I looked at the receipt there was a $100 pet fee. I called prior to my stay and asked but I wasn't going to make a big deal of it. When I received the survey I mentioned this experience. Later I received an email from the GM with a lot of untruthful information. When asked to provide the document, she said I should have signed, she ignored my email. Several days went by and I sent the email chain and receipt to customer care. The next day the GM writes this long email, with various untruths. This woman keeps making up stories. |When I called Marriott, they told me since the hotel GM refuses to do anything, the corporation cannot do anything. I NEVER asked for a refund, I simply said, I was not told and this provided a low customer service experience. If the GM had any decent customer service skills she would have apologized and treated me as a valued customer. You can treat a customer, properly without refunding their money. I guess Krysta (the GM) wasn't told this in training. My status with Marriott reached Titanium elite because I was a loyal customer. I stopped being loyal after CV19 and found I was getting much better service at other hotels. I will now stop completely. They need to defend their bad service more than my business.
This has been the best experience at a hotel Iâve ever had. Everything was perfect! The rooms were beautiful with huge windows, tall ceilings with wood beams. Very clean, comfortable and modern. I absolutely loved the shoebox breakfast concept. I h
Didn't stay there, was next door at Apple Bee's. But hav stayed there in the past. And I would definitely recommend it to others. Probably 1 of the best places to stay. It's like they treat u like family.!!!
