Residence Inn Los Angeles LAX/Manhattan Beach - Hotel in Manhattan Beach - 1700 N Sepulveda Blvd, USA

I came here with my husband and kids, we had a great experience. They upgraded our room to the penthouse, which was really awesome since we have 3 kids. We had plenty of room, beds were comfortable, it was very clean, bathrooms were nice. The kids loved the pool. It was heated and comfortable. The breakfast buffet was really good. Better than most buffets and they changed the menu each morning. My only complaint is that the room did have a very very strong smell. I don’t think it’s a smell you can get out unless you replace the carpet and paint the walls. It smells old and musty. We opened all the windows to air it out and that helped, but the smell never went away. I would still highly recommend it. The location is great because there is a target and Ralph’s walking distance. Beach is a very short drive and into the downtown area is close by. Staff was very friendly.

The rooms were enjoyable since they were very spacious but the only problem was I kept finding little insects… The service on the other hand wasn’t great at all the lady at the front desk kept giving myself and child attitude, it felt as though she was discriminating against me because of my skin color meanwhile she spoke respectfully to the other residents who were white. The location is great I loved it since it was by the beach, overall my stay here was a 2 star.

Nice size room, was clean, the included breakfast was basic but edible. Scrambled eggs, sausage, cereal, pancakes, waffle machine, fruit. Parking was terrible, was very tight had to let my wife and kids out of the vehicle so I could squeeze in otherwise they’d hit the cars next to them upon exiting. Beds were comfy. Close to LAX.

The stay was good. Room was smaller than I expected. Needs some updating but room was ok. However, at check out the manager Juliana (i think was her name) was very grumpy and not very friendly at all to the person in front of me and to me. She said her printer was down so she could not get me a receipt. I asked for just an amount Im being charged and she gave attitude and seemed to make it like it’s a big deal so I just said forget and left. Will not be back. Oh and they had construction going on and never told us at booking.

Rooms are big, clean and comfortable we had a great night sleep. Staff however were not friendly. Pool wasn’t clean and do not buy anything from the market because they over charge you. For one bubbly and small bag of chips they charged me 11$.

Management decided on this property to HOLD 500usd per night plus room and tax without being disclose on the Bonvoy website. The property has no values for such amount on hold. I was at W before and they hold the same amount but it is the W. ||Breakfast was ok but staff in the restaurant are AMAZING and make your day start with a big smile. |Latinas run that restaurant and they really do a great job.

We started our two week trip here at this hotel and couldn't have chosen a better location for exploring LA. We had hired a car and had excellent access to Manhatten Beach, the Observatory, Malibu Beach, Venice Beach and Santa Monica. You can walk to Target, Olive Garden and a few other shops (inc Anthropology which is a favourite). Hotel was super clean, beds were comfy and the breakfast buffet was a great start to the day. We didn't get time to use the pool but it looked very inviting. Hotel staff were brilliant, would definitely recommend.

I recently stayed at the Residence Inn Manhattan Beach and unfortunately, my experience was not up to expectations. The staff were unhelpful, and the service was terrible. I hope the management can address these issues to improve the experience for future guests.
