Residence Inn Los Angeles Glendale - Hotel in Glendale - 199 N Louise St, USA

We stayed here one night in July 2024. We chose this hotel as it was conveniently located with respect to Dodger Stadium (the closest we could get without staying downtown), as well as nearby Burbank/WB Studio Tour. ||We reserved a 2-room, 2-queen suite. I loved it! Full kitchen is so convenient, even if we did not use many of the features. It is nice to have a fridge for cold water and microwave to heat up my tea. There is so much more that is available to those who need it. The living room was spacious and had a Juliette balcony overlooking the pool. It was slightly disappointing that our door only opened a crack though so it difficult to even fit my phone through to take a picture of the view / sunset without the reflection of the glass. ||Beds were comfortable. Not a ton of space for suitcases in the bedroom (I had to leave mine in the living room), but the room was long and did not feel crowded. Bathroom was modern and clean, with a standalone shower that had plenty of shelves for toiletries. There was also sufficient counter and cabinet space around the sink. ||One of the best parts of our experience was check-in. My name was on a list by the desk of guests to welcome that day, and the front desk attendants provided personalized service. Unfortunately I did not mark down the name of the lady who initially checked us in and stored our luggage, but she was kind and helpful. I believe Adam is who we dealt with the rest of our stay, and he was very engaging and pleasant as well. He would remember us and ask details about our stay (like knowing we were there for the Dodger game, and asking how we liked it the next time he saw us). Overall A+ for the staff. ||Parking was convenient and secure. There was a small space (about 2-3 cars) for temporary loading/unloading near the lobby entrance, and then an underground garage that was gated with key card access only. I was nervous about the underground garage, but it was surprisingly spacious and well lit. We had no trouble finding a spot during our stay (with several ins/outs), and the spaces themselves had room to open our doors (unlike some other tighter spaces we encountered elsewhere in CA). ||Only downside was noise level at night. My preference on my Marriott profile is for a high floor, and I was on the 5th out of 6 floors. Unfortunately, we had a noisy group above us and it sounded like they had a roller derby going on for part of the night, although thankfully didn’t last too late. ||I would definitely stay here again for a Dodger game, WB Studio tour, or any other event in the area.

The best Residence Inn I've ever been to. So clean so spacious so luxury. The lobby is gorgeous. Rooms are all good. Breakfast was above the average. Exceptional overall. Only cons are small gym and 40 dollars parking fee.

Your hotel is lovely and the staff with the exception of the manager was very accommodating. I've never been spoken to by hotel staff so rudely. We came in for a wedding and needed to make it to the first event and our room was not ready at 3 pm when we arrived. We had to get ready and leave by 4pm for an event. The first front desk staff said he was going to check on the room and basically never came back. The second person we talked to said she would get the manager and we don't think that happened. Our room was promised 3:45, giving us 15 minutes to get ready, and when we spoke to the third front desk person he said it still was not ready. I asked to speak to the manager to explain and then asked for compensation for our. situation in points or a discount and was told "That is not going to happen". I could not believe she said that to me. She then went on to say someone with more status than me got a late check out. My husband has titanium status and my learning is that he will book the rooms moving forward if this is the way Marriott treats their lower status customers and their female customers.

I love this hotel. We are visiting from Texas. The staff and front desk hosts definitely give you wonderful service. They serve in excellence. We are Hilton diamond members and decided to give the competitor a try. This hotel did not disappoint. The rooms were so cozy and the beds are super comfortable. They even accommodated an early check in as it was available. ||The hot tub was wonderful and relaxing. The breakfast was of good quality. The hotel even held our luggage and groceries at check out because our next check in is not until 3pm at our next destination. ||I like that the hotel is close to a mall, restaurants, bars, and public transportation. ||I definitely will return to this hotel.

Those who follow my postings, know I don’t pull any punches when it comes to service. I felt like it was 1995, and they treated me like I used to be treated as a Lifetime Titanium guest.||Don’t want to set up any unrealistic expectations, because it’s very rare anymore to get an early check-in, but when I texted them, they said they would see what they could do, rather than the typical “we were full last night“ message. The desk agent, Adam, responded to the message in the app, thanking me for my loyalty as a titanium guest.||Upon arrival, the property is really cool on the inside, I don’t know when it was built, but it feels like it could’ve opened the first of 2024.||The room itself was very contemporary, the latest iteration of residence and decor, with the big paintings of the tree on the wall, and bright bluepaint. The kitchen was in perfect repair, with a good array of kitchen supplies.||Immaculate, clean walk-in shower, an ample USB port throughout the unit.||Again, people following me will often hear me lament about the good old days of Elite*** status, this property made me feel special, in a clean, comfortable setting.||Breakfast was as expected at a Residence Inn. Try breakfast on the patio. Bring your key, you need it to get back in! 😉||Try this property. You’ll be pleased!

We’ve stayed at the Residence Inn by Marriott in Glendale multiple times, and each visit has been consistently excellent. This hotel has become our go-to choice whenever we’re in the area. The check-in process is always smooth, thanks to the friendly and efficient front desk staff who make us feel welcome right away. Their professionalism and helpfulness set a positive tone for our stay. The suites are spacious, clean, and well-designed, with a full kitchen that’s perfect for extended stays. It’s always nice to have a comfortable living area and a separate bedroom, which makes it feel like a home away from home. We’ve always found the rooms to be well-maintained and stocked with all the essentials. One of the highlights of our stays has been the complimentary breakfast. I always try to choose a hotel that has good variety breakfast options because I don’t like being have to go out to eat something first thing in the morning. The variety of options, from fresh fruit and pastries to hot dishes and coffee, provides a great start to the day. The breakfast area is always clean and well-organized, making it a pleasant place to begin the morning. The hotel’s amenities are top-notch. We’ve enjoyed using the fitness center, which is well-equipped, and the outdoor pool is a relaxing spot after a day of exploring. The reliable and fast Wi-Fi is a bonus, especially when we need to catch up on work or stream our favorite shows. The location is also a significant advantage. The hotel is conveniently close to shopping, dining, and attractions in Glendale, which makes it easy to enjoy the area. The quiet, safe neighborhood adds to the overall comfort of our stay. Overall, our repeated stays here have been consistently positive. The combination of excellent service, comfortable accommodations, and great amenities makes it a standout choice. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Glendale and look forward to our next stay.

We have stayed in many Residence Inns in the past 35 years. This one is the nicest we have ever stayed in. Beautifully remodeled and great room. Glendale is not in the center of LA for tourist so this should be a consideration for those people. If your destination is convenient to Glendale this would definitely be the place to stay. Walk to Porto's and have breakfast or lunch the most reasonably priced and good meal you will have in LA.

Never again at this hotel. ||We traveled to LA for a 3 day sports camp and reserved a 2 room suite (higher cost) for our family through Marriott Bon Voy. 2 days out, I received a call asking if we still needed the room (strange call in hindsight), to which we replied, "yes." Day of trip, I checked in through Marriott app so room would be ready when we landed. But when we arrived at hotel, we were told they did not have our room because the hotel had been oversold (which explains the earlier call), and that they would put us in a downgraded studio and give us a $50 credit per night -- which meant that we would get a much smaller room at a much higher price than if we had reserved that same room in the first place (several hundred dollars more). ||When I told the representative that as unacceptable, I was told that Residence Inn would cancel my room for free (the room they didn't have), and that I would need to make my own reservation at a different hotel. We then had to scramble to make our own reservation at a nearby Marriott (Courtyard Pasadena/Old Town).||We primarily stay at Marriott hotels, and I am usually happy with the hotel/stay/service. I remain shocked that we showed up to the hotel with a reservation, had already checkin in online, and were told "sorry, find another hotel." ||We have no idea whether the hotel is nice or not because we never made it past the lobby. My advice. Stay away and book somewhere you feel more confident that they will actually have your room when you arrive.
