Residence Inn Long Island Islip/Courthouse Complex - Hotel in Central Islip - 7 Court House Dr, USA

My family and I moved from LI 2 years ago and have been back several times to several different hotels. This was the first time I didn't have to worry about cleanliness. It was so so clean! And the breakfast was actually really good!! The only complaint is the heated pool is cold and there was no towels to dry off but everything else was excellent.

The hotel was very nice and clean the bed was very comfortable this is a great hotel for comfort and cleanliness. First night (June 12, 2024) was a wonderful night. The next night (June 13, 2024) ended up being the night from hell. Their were rude obnoxious, loud, people in the courtyard talking and laughing all night long till around 5:00 in the morning. I couldn't get any sleep. It ruined my day the next day very frustrating. I wish the staff would have told the people outside to be quiet or to go to bed. Because of this I can only give the hotel two stars. Otherwise I would have given them five stars.

Pretty good hotel for our two day trip! Room was super clean and the lady at the front desk with the winged eyeliner (I think her name started with an S?) was SUPER nice and helpful.

The hotel is always a delight to stay in, the clerks were respectful and helpful. the room was spacious with a kitchenette, couch, swivel flat screen TV, and the King size mattress was comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and the pool was amazing.

Have stayed here multiple times and never really had a problem. Besides a couple charges on my card that I'm still trying to work with them to figure out what they are and to get them off. And just one staff member Approach me after I had checked out. And was waiting for a ride and kept harassing me about not having a room but I was in the lobby and I kinda thought that's what the lobby was for for when. You're checking out or checking in to gather all your stuff. Meanwhile, all the other staff members knew who I was and had no problem with me. He ended up putting me on a banned list. When you spend that type of money to stay in a place like that, you expect that they at least have some courtesy and respect for youWhen you spend that type of money to stay in a place like that, you expect that they at least have some courtesy and respect for you. The picture of the man walking in the door from outside is the staff memory. You probably want to try to stay away from. It seems that when he's having a bad day, he takes it out on everyone else.

Second time staying here and it's been great! Great staff! Good sized fitness center and can't wait to try the pool during my next stay!

Upon arriving at the hotel, I was shocked and disappointed to discover that extensive construction work was underway on the premises. It was deeply disappointing to learn about this only upon my arrival, as I had not been informed of the ongoing construction when making my reservation. The noise levels resulting from the construction were excessive and intolerable, disrupting any chance of peace and relaxation during my stay. Furthermore, upon entering my room, I was immediately struck by an unpleasant odor, which indicated a lack of cleanliness. Despite my hopes that this issue would be isolated, I found several areas of the room that appeared unclean and unkempt. This further compounded my discomfort and disappointment with the overall quality of my accommodations. The mattress had a distinct "U" shape to it as it folded up at both the head and foot of the bed. The deep impressions in the mattress also made it impossible to have a comfortable sleep. Add to that the smell of cigarettes and you get an idea of the conditions. The location was also quite concerning. Signs in front of each parking spot warned of the possibility of break-ins to vehicles and the hotel would not be responsible...quite concerning. ***Marriott did reach out to me and offered a full refund**

Frequent business traveler. I’ve stayed in hundreds possibly thousands of hotels. This by far is one of the best. The staff, the rooms, the location, the free breakfast, and the cleanliness are all a Homerun.
