Residence Inn Long Island Hauppauge/Islandia - Hotel in Hauppauge - 850 Veterans Memorial Hwy, USA

I want to preface this review with the fact that I paid $390 for one night in this hotel. We arrived at 3:30pm and despite check in being at 3:00pm our room was not ready. The front desk didn’t even really apologize for the inconvenience, it was more matter of fact and said they were “busy”. The front desk then told us that the elevators were broken. We could also hear the front desk complaining about their shift and just lacking professionalism having loud conversations with each other while we were waiting for our room to be ready. The rooms were fine, they were clean enough but they were outdated and I expected much more for $390/night. As far as hotel breakfasts, this one wasn’t bad—the eggs seemed real which is never a guarantee. Overall, it was a fine place to rest my head while I was in town for a wedding but way over priced. A hotel that charges almost $400/night should have professional staff with hospitality training, updated rooms/decor, functioning elevators and rooms ready for their guests by check in time.

Rooms are outdated, the furniture is badly worn, the tub is worn down and needs to be sanded and painted again, the walls are patched and there was a leak in the window in my room the whole 2 wks I was there all it did was rain... The staff is great!! The Keurig you leave out at night needs to be thoroughly cleaned and please add more coffee options Decaf & Dark Roast only. They DO NOT have a Jacuzzi!!! The pool is nice and clean. The gym was also clean, there were few machines in there. The breakfast in the morning is small and the same most days. Not too many options. Overall I would stay again, but an honest review can't hurt. ... Lots of stores and the Mall is close by.

Great place to stay. We stayed there for a wedding down the road. The people that worked. There are the greatest breakfast is great. No complain about this place at all five star all the way good job Marriott.

How could a hotel not have filtered water available for their clients. We had to buy bottled water at $5.00 a bottle. Next time I will give the Hampton Inn a try. Hotel was just ordinary nothing special. We’ve stayed at Residence Inns across the country and I recall them all having water at the front desk where you could take a glass or fill your bottles. I know it sounds little but to me it’s the small things that count!!

Rooms are large with full kitchen amenities, pull out bed is really uncomfortable though

The staff at the front desk was very nice . We stayed one night for a wedding . With tax basically $300 for one night :( not worth the price at all. They allow pets so a dog was barking constantly at night :( our bed was falling apart and sinking in and causing back pain! This location needs some updates or lower the prices !

We rented a one bedroom suite with a sofa bed. The room had a small kitchen and I really liked how the bedroom door closes for privacy. The bathroom was inside the bedroom which I didn’t like and the sink was outside the bathroom too. There was a fridge and a dishwasher with all the kitchen essentials needed for a short trip. We asked for more blankets and toothbrushes and they brought them to us. We were also given a bag of ice when we needed it. The breakfast was not the best but we made do.

Stayed for 1 night in a 1 bedroom. Clean room. Quiet location. Comfortable bed. Had a separate living area with a door - handy for those middle of the night awakenings so you don’t disturb your partner. Typical breakfast included. Would definitely stay again if in the area
