Residence Inn Houston Pasadena - Hotel in Pasadena - 4711 East Sam Houston Pkwy S, USA

Hurricane Beryl came through Texas, and my reservation was canceled by another Marriott location 2 days before we were to come down for a cruise. That hotel had no power or water. Of course it was no one’s fault, but me and my friends were sent into a panic. Residence Inn was one of the few locations I reached out to for last minute reservations, and they happened to have a few rooms open. I feel like this hotel ended up being a better choice than the canceled one, The studio rooms have everything you need - a full size fridge, over the range microwave, electric cooktop, toaster, sink, island space, sofa, nice full size bathroom with a large walk-in shower. They also offer free breakfast. The hotel was clean, and the staff was so pleasant. We didn’t take advantage of the pool and bbq areas on the patio, as it was raining, and we were only there for one night. The only (slight) downside is the location. I would imagine this is more of a suburban area, so not much walkability. Still I would highly recommend this hotel if you’re in the Houston area.

Convenient home base to commute back & forth to all my assignments across the metroplex. Clean, plenty of parking, complimentary breakfast with hot dishes, coffee bar & juice bar each morning. Beautiful lobby. Clean spacious rooms and upgraded bathrooms - my room had a half glass shower - no tub, nicely designed, comfortable bedding. My AC unit vents were positioned right over the queen bed - which is great after a long day in the heat, but I froze overnight with the direct air and came back sick. Huge swivel TV that can be viewed in the bedroom areas or turned to watch in the living room area. Came with a couch, fully stocked kitchenette, full sized fridge, microwave, stove top to cook on and pots, dishes etc. Nice blackout curtains and art work in the room. I love traveling with Marriott - the Bonvoy Channel - the stories. Just a classy company. The reception staff who checked me in & out were attentive and kind. The overnight manager called to check on me when he noticed my guest looking Lost in the lobby 😄 We were happy he answered our call & he quickly rectified the access door which lost battery and locked a few guests out apparently. We didn’t visit the outdoor pool which looked nice (too busy working) but I did use the laundry facility which was very clean $2 wash $2 dry by the way. Plenty of restaurants across the street. Clean hotel Is off the tollway so quick access to shopping and getting to downtown Houston. Target, HEB grocery store, The Joint chiropractor, Bath & Bodyworks, Ross, Ulta, Five Below, Olive Garen, Freddy’s, Souper Salad, Chicken Salad Chick, Popeyes, and a Nike Store just to name a few of the places we visited during our 10 day stay. All within a 5 minute drive.

Great hotel in an excellent location. Front desk staff was always there and super helpful! I highly recommend this hotel for extended stays. It Has a stove and full size fridge in every room and four sets of plates, utensils and glasses. Free Wireless Internet, fire pit, pool, and two grills. With be staying again for work.

Service and location are great. Room is also clean and comfortable. However, the NOISE is the reason I give 3 starts. Once we turn off all lights and almost fell asleep, the machine noise (I’m not sure it was the AC engine in our room, or something else) suddenly woke us up. I turned off our AC but the noise was still there. And it went on and off all night!!! It was as noisy as if there were a generator in the room. We didn’t sleep well all night.

Stayed one night prior to going on a cruise out of Galveston. Cute room and the hotel is located in a convenient location near shopping and restaurants. We were able to walk to dinner and back with no issue. ||Staff was super nice. Only real obvious “negative” was the water pressure in the showers was non-existent. Despite this, would still stay again.

Hubby got his parents a room here this weekend who were visiting from out of town. We were able to get a room that accommodates disabled without a problem. Everything was fine except the bunch of kids and people that were staying for some t ball tournament that they were involved in. They took over the pool/ grill area, which sucked for us who were trying to enjoy the pool. And to top it off, my brother in laws truck got broken into, as well, along with a couple of other vehicles. The staff helped, and a police report was filed. Things overall were ok, but I don't think we'll be placing them at this hotel next time they visit.
