Residence Inn Fresno Clovis - Hotel in Clovis - 820 Santa Ana Ave, USA

My husband and I came here with our daughter, so we could drive to Yosemite National Park and then Sequoia National Park and then Monterey/Big Sur. It was a central location for us to do everything without getting a hotel in each place. ||Parking lot is big, some spots in the back are covered. ||The hotel has an outdoor swimming pool, which our daughter loved. The staff kept the towels filled too. ||The hotel room was just what we needed. We put snacks in the kitchen area, water and food in the fridge, and each morning I used the microwave. ||I have celiac disease so the breakfast didn't have anything for me to eat that was gluten free. I went to the grocery store to get gluten free protein breakfasts to put in the microwave and eat on my own. ||The one complaint I will share is the AC. We told the hotel that we had the AC on for several hours and it wasn't working. They sent someone to go look at it and couldn't figure out what was wrong. We put it at 65, closed all the drapes, and each day went to a national park so it should have been cool upon our return. It was not. Hotel said it was because we're on the top floor (4th floor) and heat rises. They offered to switch rooms but I didn't want to pack up and then unpack in a different room after being exhausted from hiking each day, so we just dealt with it. But if you stay here I recommend a lower level floor to combat this issue should you have it too.

We needed a safe, clean and accommodating a place to crash during the half point of our road trip. Service was great except for it took quite a while to book a room and we were exhausted at one in the morning. Rooms were super nice and clean and so accommodating. The beds were comfy. We woke up the next morning not wanting to leave. I wish breakfast stayed open a little longer than 9 AM. Anyway, it was a great spot and we would come back again

I stay at this residence inn every month while I'm in town for work. I enjoy their coffee and their breakfast is actually pretty good. Way better than other ones I've been to. Rooms also have always been clean! However, this review isn't necessarily about the food or rooms but about the service, and in particular, an associate named Kendra. Every single time I've come in and she's working, I'm greeted promptly, she's super friendly and warm and honestly interacting with her is one of the highlights of staying here. Whether she is checking me in, or simply acknowledging me when I'm leaving or coming back, her pleasant demeanor is the same. I honestly hope that her manager sees this because I really want them to know what a gem they have in their hands. She is the BEST! So, thank you Kendra for being so awesome. I appreciate you and the service you provide. See ya next month!

Rooms are specious, pretty new. Unfortunately, I think the cleaning crew can do better. On our check in day: - Crumbs were still on the kitchen counter. - Bathroom floor with black water stains. - The little bottle body lotion is 1/3 way used. - Doors filled with dust on the panel edges. Since the hotel is still new, rooms still look nice. Bed, pillows and with a nice comforter (not a thin blanket) are very comfortable. Free breakfast, with multiple healthy choices; perfect for athletes to start their day. Beside the room cleanliness (that I will rate 2), we are happy with our stay.

Just stayed a night. The place was clean and nice. The complementary breakfast was great. There was a bit of hiccup with getting two ajjacnefs rooms but it was eventually sorted out. Overall a good experience.

The room was immaculate. It had a large shower with sliding glass doors. The beds were very comfortable. The kitchen was clean and well stocked. The tv was large with a nice couch. Impressed.

From what I understand this is a new hotel. The experience was great. This is actually my second time staying here and both times have been great. The rooms are clean, the parking is great, and the service is great as well. The location is in a great spot and away from some of the older hotel options down the street on Shaw. I feel very safe staying here. I would stay here again.

We spent a solid 2 weeks here. I’m not joking. I don’t like people in our room. So housekeeping was kind enough to lend me what I needed to clean up after ourselves. For being a new hotel. Marriot is just plagued with the bad bathrooms that spray water on the floor. But to be honest the worse part was the light switch. It was a motion sensor that would blast very bright light. The bathroom faces the bed. An you can’t turn this off unless u remove the faceplate. When u spend 2 weeks here an the damn bathroom light starts to drive you bonkers. I hate to take the sensor just to be able to go in peace an not wake everyone up. Great location. Mall. College. Savemart center. Etc use google. Some staff were amazing. Some were new an needed to learn to say hi when you walk in. lol. They needed better smoking signs as some dude just kept smoking where it said not to an the staff told him not to an he said he’s always done this an he should be compt free stuff for being told he couldn’t smoke in areas. The poor staffer just gave up an let him take several things from the market. What a horrible man. The bath
