Residence Inn Franklin Cool Springs - Hotel in Franklin - 2009 Meridian Blvd, USA

This hotel is in a great location, within walking distance of restaurants. They offered a free dinner on Tuesday night and free breakfast each morning. The hotel personnel are very nice and very welcoming on arrival. We did have a problem with the water temperature in our shower but they handled that immediately after we informed them. My one big disappointment was their bed! It was a king bed but fell to a gully in the middle! It was not comfortable and my husband ended up on the sofa. Their pillows need replacing also as they had a sweaty head smell. If they address these issues, which are big ones, it would be a good hotel. Afterall the job of a hotel is to offer a good night’s sleep. Without a good bed, it is difficult to rest well. We also noticed the carpeting near the elevator was worn so perhaps a redo of this hotel is needed at this time. Marriott is a good brand so I hope they will listen and address these concerns.

This was our second visit to this property. The reason we chose this property again was its location. It's in a nice setting in a business park and was walkable to many local restaurants and close to I-65 and the mall area. For the most part the hotel was well maintained but had a dated feel to it. The rooms furnishings were in good condition but the halls were looking worn and carpets were very worn in many locations. This property is definitely in need of a update. The staff was not very friendly and acted indifferent overall. There are a lot of hotels in the Cool Springs area so on our next visit we'll probably be trying one of those.

Stayed for a quick overnight while traveling. This is not a 5 star hotel, but for someone who personally has high standards for hotels, this one was not concerning whatsoever. The area it was in was very nice and accommodating with walkable nearby restaurants. There were no bad odors in the lobby or the room like you read in other reviews. The room was clean and breakfast was great. What stood out the most was the staff and how hospitable and kind they were. They went above and beyond! Be weary of the poor reviews you read.

This area is beautiful, convenient, and upscale. The grounds are pleasant and landscaped. The counter service was excellent (older gentleman, I wished I remembered his name). ||But the room itself…yuck. Doors were greasy, couch sofa bed was flat and very stained, bathroom was worn down/moldy. Furniture was chipped/damaged. I was expecting a higher quality room from this location and was disappointed.

Clean and comfortable stay for our family during a nearby medical procedure. Close to hospital; lots of delivery options, though not a lot within close walking distance. Pool was a good distraction for the kids - the pool area was stiflingly hot, but they didn't mind! Plan to stay again for follow-up visits.

Wow! This location is definitely 5 stars. Everything was perfect. I asked for a quiet room and that’s what I got. Rooms Are very clean and up to date. Franklin in general appears to be very clean and safe. I was walking solo to and from the Embassy and was just fine. I missed it, but they offered a lasagna, tiramisu, and free beer night and it looked sooo delicious! If I return to Franklin again for work I will definitely stay here.

We had an amazing stay, the staff were very helpful and friendly. Clean rooms with a quiet location in the Cool Springs area. This hotel is very well managed and that leadership is reflected in the staff's attention to guests and the hotel.

This place was amazing. It was $200 cheaper and only one light away from our Host Hotel where the event was being held. It had microwave full size fridge two burner stove would save me a lot more money traveling with four people total. I will never stay at a hotel again I will always stay at Residence Inn not to mention the staff was amazing.
