In a great location. Front desk staff were very friendly. They upgraded me to a two-room suite, which was great, but it was just me! I only stayed one night for business, but it would have been great for longer stays, with a full kitchen. The bed was pretty comfortable and I didn't see any of the issues that the other reviewers had.
Absolutely love this hotel. Ive stayed here weeks at a time. All of the staff is friendly, housekeeping is friendly. The rooms are super super clean. Mrs Gayle is always nice and smiling. Chris is always singing and throwing compliments your way that will make u smile even on a bad day. And Joseph is always so nice anytime I've ever had the pleasure of speaking with him. I know all of that sounds super cheesy, but they really do make you feel welcomed and comfortable.
We stayed on the second floor. It appears the entire floor is sloped. It's especially noticeable from inside our room. We walk downhill to go from the living room to the bedroom. The floor is so sloped and slanted! It's also slanted the other way, away from the window. Our bed seems to be at the low point of the suite. ||The tile in front of the sinks is busted, so when you step on it, it gives. The whole flooring is a mess! The toilet doesn't flush half the time (you have to hold the flusher down), and the shower takes forever to heat up and you can't pull the shower pull up all the way. One of the two burners doesn't work. The bedroom door doesn't latch, and the lock on the bedroom door doesn't work anyway. There is insulation popping up above the washing machine. When we went down to the pool, it was foggy and my son said the water smells. Speaking of smells, all of the bath towels smell like burning petroleum or something, so I assume their dryers aren't working right, either. There are two elevators, and one is currently broken. Everything is broken! Don't they have an engineer on staff??? The sloped floor is probably the most concerning, though. They must have serious foundation issues or something.||Two stars just because everything is clean and the front desk staff is very nice.
This hotel is AMAZING! The staff, location, and ambiance is outstanding! The bed is SO COMFORTABLE! I WANT TO TAKE IT HOME!!! I needed to stay here before my house was ready due to relocating from another state. I will recommend this to family and friends!
This residence Inn is in a kind of funky area. The first time I was going there I thought I was actually going to some kind of downtown apartment.
The staff is great and they have water available for you when you get there. I am pretty big on the fitness rooms, and I enjoyed this one. What was kind of funny about it is that going through the fitness room was one of the main ways to get out to the pool. I have never experienced that before.
All in all, it was a good experience.
I gave this hotel 5 stars because it was fresh, updated, and clean. The rooms were very clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. It was too cold for the outdoor pool but there’s a nice seating area with a fire pit. The location is in walking distance to restaurants, shopping, and a park. I would recommend staying here.
Marriott has slipped. A lot. When checking in, front staff assured us that our room was cleaned before hand. When we turned down the bed later in the evening after returning to our room, discovered they tried to place a queen sized bottom sheet on a king sized bed, so the entire right side of the bed had a dirty, old, exposed mattress that the top sheets got to rub up against. There was no cover or skirt on the bottom, exposing the ugly brown dumpy plastic mattress platform covering and metal bed legs. When I showered this morning, I assumed the towels hanging on the rack in the bathroom near the shower were clean. I grabbed a towel, and as I was drying off my body, noticed that the towel was actually quite dirty with dried residues and filth. Not OK. I’m not sure what’s going on with hotels in the US, but it seems that if you are not staying at a 4 star plus hotel, you will not get clean rooms. As a rather loyal Marriott member, I Do NOT recommend.
Had a reunion / memorial celebration in one of their meeting rooms. Everything was great, staff were awesome and accommodating. Everyone’s rooms were very nice and comfortable. Highly recommend this hotel.
