This Residence Inn is newly renovated and the rooms look amazing. The rooms have all new appliances with very comfortable beds and linens. I felt like we were in a new hotel. The renovations are almost finished and the hotel was extremely quiet with no extra noise from updating. The staff was very welcoming, friendly and helpful! The hot breakfast just hit the spot with eggs, sausage, homemade potatoes, juice, all flavors of coffee, biscuits and gravy and fruit. Brandon at the front desk and Angela and Taylor in the breakfast area made our stay so special and I would like to thank them for their hospitality.

Yeah, avoid this one. I have never stayed at a hotel in the United States, even in New York City, with a smaller bedroom than this hotel. I had to walk sideways to get to the window to open and close the curtains, and I am not a big person. You can see in the pictures how narrow that space is. There's not even a luggage rack in the room because there is literally nowhere to put it. The rooms are modern. The shower heads are not good, but other than that the bathroom's great. If you do stay here, don't stay in an even-numbered room. You will be awakened at 5am by the dumpsters being emptied at the Olive Garden across the parking lot. Ask me how I know. The AC was so loud and rumbly that it woke me up every time it came on, and it actually shook the bed. You could feel it vibrate the bed. That's nuts. It's probably because it's about six inches from the mattress. I don't get why it's so loud. It was ridiculous. The service was not great. When I got into the room, I would have had to empty the dishwasher if I wanted to use dishes. I just left it. That seems odd. Also, in spite of the construction and known problems, not one person checked in on me, even through the text system. When I left, three people were at reception talking to each other, and not one even addressed me. While I was there the hotel was under construction/renovation, and it was shocking to me how little the hotel management did to make sure guests still felt welcome. When I got there, I didn't even think it was open. I thought I was at the wrong place. They charged the same, even though the renovation made for a not great experience and I wasn't told about it. For example, the fire alarm went off when I was there, and they did nothing about it. Meaning, they didn't make any calls or announcements that it was just the construction or anything. Both nights, the tvs randomly turned on in the middle of the night, even though the remotes weren't even moved and I had not turned them on at all during my stay. So weird. Perhaps it's an electrical thing (like the fire alarm). One night, I got there, and the fire door to the room corridor was closed. I didn't even know if I was allowed to walk down the hall. Another guest saw me and said she thought it was okay. As we walked down the hall, I asked about her experience, and she said she couldn't believe how bad it was. I felt better knowing I wasn't the only one thinking that this hotel is not great. You have to turn on an unprotected left to get out onto the road, and it took me three minutes to do that, so build in extra time to get to your destination. The breakfast is not like a normal Residence Inn, so don't expect that. It will be more like a Motel 6. If you don't mind, no worries.

WARNING ⚠️ there is a LOT of construction going on. There was no mention of this online. Positves: We got a newly remodeled room and the staff was reasonably nice. Negatives: The room we were in had very uneven floors. We put a small foam ball on the floor and it rolled across the floor and hit the wall. Also the dishwasher was not sitting level due to the floor so it had trouble staying open. The elevator stopped working and our room was right next to the stairs. The heavy traffic combined with the loud stairwell door made it hard to sleep or relax. Breakfast was in another hotel room and was a grab and go style with frozen sandwiches. The construction was like the highway department it was a little bit of everything everywhere. Probably why it has been going on for over a year (staff told us that). Navigating the hotel was made extremely difficult. The front desk was torn apart and really not safe to operate from. There appeared to be no attemp to maintain the property while construction was happening. There were brake rotors next to the trash can on the ground, trash all over the parking lot and hallways, construction materials laying around everywhere, and I had to kick a beer can out of the way when loading to leave. Being charged full price to stay in a construction zone was not what we planed for. The intent for booking here was the quality of residence inn and their breakfast so that I could have a peaceful stress free weekend to get tests done for the praxis. That unfortunately is not what happened. After completing the tests I went to relax in the pool and they were cutting tile right next to the pool even though they were working on the other side of the building laying tile. Very disappointing

If this did not say Marriott in the name, I would not have known it. I understand this place is going under major renovations, but it did not say so in my app when I made the reservation. Signs everywhere things are inoperable, like the elevator that said parts were on order, this was separate from the renovations, so I carried my luggage upstairs, not a huge deal. The room was said to have renovated, but not the HVAC system. The operation was loud! A low humm, like a train. I slept terrible. There was a dishwasher full of dishes and after my shower, no lotion was available, just an off brand bottle of shampoo I know Marriott does not carry in place of lotion, but was on the counter when I checked in. TV wifi was not operable. Why was there 2 remotes? I wanted to check the weather before I hit the road. Was not happening. Breakfast was grab and go because again of renovations. I like the Marriot brand because of my past experience, I just did not have a good one here.

The first 2 nights at this place was ok. Lots of construction still going, dust and tools laying around. As of Monday morning some lady who I presume is one of the managers there accused my family of the smell of marijuana in the hallway but not the room. But didn’t question her staff/construction workers that were out the door smoking something out of a pipe. We were threatened with the police and we told her to call as we had nothing to hide and when I told her to go ahead she changed her mind to just kick us out. That was no problem for us to find another hotel and pack up and go, but I was charged a smoking fee and an extra $100 but no one can tell me why. In the hallway I’m not responsible for who walks in and out of. This “manager” is a nasty vile person who I feel does this quite often to folks. And after so many years of being a member just like that I would never spend another dime with Bonvoy

The location is great. My room had a full size fridge and freezer, 2 stove top burner, and a dishwasher. It was a great experience for a long trip.

Really Good Hotel - GREAT Staff!||I would have rated it a GREAT hotel, however, they are doing a major renovation, and I can't wait to go back and see it when it is done!||I was disappointed when I arrived, because the guaranteed accessible room I had reserved (three months before my arrival), was on the second floor and the whole second floor was under reconstruction. I complained that I should have been notified so I could have made other plans.||The General Manager, Melissa Robbins, was understanding and apologized for the lack of communication and we came to an agreement that I was pleased with. I appreciated her professionalism and kindness.||I felt that the Front Desk Staff was extremely friendly, kind and very helpful! Nina and Ash went above and beyond, and they are awesome! Talk about awesome, the Breakfast Attendants! Angela, Taylor and Stan (I may have the last name wrong because I can not read my notes - if so, I apologize, because he was fun and entertaining - a great greeting and smile every day!).||My room #313 was recently renovated and it was great: I loved the layout and the comfortable furniture and bedding. There were a few small issues with my shower door being hard to slide and the hot and cold-water lines being reversed, and Shane, the Maintenance Person, quickly addressed and fixed the shower door. He is extremely pleasant and kind!||As I said earlier - I can't wait until the renovations are done so I can return to this property.||Arkansas Eagle (Mark F)

The room was very clean. The bathrooms had Dove soap and lotion that smelled really good. The hotel breakfast was good too! And there are many restaurants near the hotel. I definitely recommend this Holiday Inn! 😊

I thoroughly enjoy the wonderful soaps, body moisture creams, and chapstick. The scents are wonderful. Some of the chapstick is seasonal, which makes it fun.
