Residence Inn Clearwater Downtown - Hotel in Clearwater - 940 Court St, USA

Stayed here recently for about 3 weeks while working in the area. Nice size room but it was kind of stale. The noise wasn’t bad until the holiday weekend. If people were loud, you could hear them clearly. Cleaning staff always did a great job, laundry room was never busy and breakfast was pretty decent. The front desk were helpful and courteous, especially Randall. He was extremely helpful, thoughtful and checked in with me whenever he saw me.

Excellent customer service. Rooms were clean and relaxing. Gym facility was small but had everything you would need. Breakfast is much like the other Marriotts I’ve stayed at, so no complaints there either. It was an overall great stay.

Great location literally 8 minutes from the main Clearwater beach and 15 minutes from the public beach sand key park ( which is amazing btw). Room was spacious and clean. The daily breakfast was decent, could use a few more options. Randall the front office manager was very helpful, friendly and professional. My son enjoyed the pool even though it was a little small! We will return to this hotel when in the Clearwater area!

Saw a cockroach in our room, we couldn't kill it and the shower heads haven't ever been cleaned it seemed like, probably kinda moldy or hard water build up. It's not bad per say, but not the best. The carpet flooring on the second floor is coming up and it's hard to drag a suitcase on it as well. The room was nice and spacious with a kitchenette fridge and small burner along with 2 desks. They also have a pool and gym which are decent. For the price it's not bad, but the place isn't new by any means.

Spent a week here for a much needed vacation! GREAT staff in all areas!! Very clean, beautiful suite, warm pool and the breakfast was delicious. Had to come to Florida for a family emergency. Stayed for a week while my mom was in ICU. The staff here are amazing and very courteous. Very spacious room for me my wife and son. Would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Clearwater.

Stayed here for one night. Room very spacious and had everything we needed. Breakfast and coffee was great. All staff very pleasant especially breakfast workers. No complaints. Would stay here again.

The bed was... ok, we didn't see any sign of bed bugs. Beddings smelled fine too. Shower head was filled with black mold.... and shower water smells pretty bad. Saw a few baby cockroaches running around at the kitchen area near the cracks next to the sink, it was so disgusting. But since we were just staying 1 night so didn't bother to request for switching to other room. But honestly, $170/night wasn't cheap and the room was quite nasty, their cleaning job really needs to be improved.......... I probably won't recommend it to anyone but the location is pretty decent if that's what you care about more.
