Checked in right after experiencing an 5.5 level earthquake on 8/6/24, the front desk reps were AWESOME! Especially, "Michi". Omg, what a beautiful and friendly energetic personality! She put me at ease by just saying, "Oh, you're safe here". She and another gentleman, who helped me with my room key, were soooo accomending. As a matter of fact, the entire staff is amazing. Kudos to Pablo too. Wish I can remember all the staff names...because they all deserve a big high five!

My stay at the Residence Inn by Marriott Chatsworth was an absolutely excellent experience that far exceeded my expectations. From the outset, I was impressed by the spaciousness of the rooms, which provided not just comfort but a sense of home away from home. The attention to cleanliness and detail in the room was remarkable, ensuring a peaceful and pleasant stay. What made the stay even more enjoyable was the array of amenities offered, including an amazing breakfast that provided a great start to the day with a variety of delicious options catering to all tastes. The quality of the food and the service in the dining area were top-notch, contributing to an overall outstanding experience. The location of the hotel itself is another highlight. It is situated in an ideal spot that combines convenience with the charm of Chatsworth. The surrounding area is filled with a wide range of dining options, from cozy cafes to exquisite restaurants, offering the opportunity to explore different cuisines just a short walk or drive away from the hotel. Additionally, the staff at the Residence Inn by Marriott Chatsworth deserves a special mention for their hospitality and professionalism. They went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was comfortable, catering to every need with a smile.

For a hotel of the category of Marriot, it is a little disappointing. The hotel is nice and modern and new, probably 2 years old with nice decor. The rooms...the first one I got was nice, clean but with a wet carpet, I guess they shampoo it maybe from a stain, they allow dogs in rooms, wich I consider annoying while you trying to do some work in the room, and sleep and the room next to you have a dog barking all day. I got another room , this time, the shower door leaked and wet all the bathroom floor. Maintenance resealed the shower, but after a couple of days, it was still leaking. Overall, an ok experience so far with this hotel. I do travel for work and use Marriot hotels because they are good places to stay, but this one is a disappointment, especially when i stay for 30 plus days.😞 Hope they get better.A suggestion, keep all the animals and pets on the first one floor.

Don’t expect to actually be able to charge your car here. It’s an amenity they don’t care about. Almost every spot blocked by a non EV and one of them even had a DOT truck parked in TWO spots also not an EV. The office could care less. Pissed because we booked this place solely so we could have our car charged and ready to go in the morning for our road trip and we can’t even do that

This hotel used to be amazing and now it is ran by squatters and disabled guests they cannot get to leave. None of the charging ports work. The long term male guests sit in the lobby drinking wine with the front desk girls. There is never any handicap parking because the long term residents never move but our biggest draw was being able to charge at night. I paid a $200 deposit to Chargie to be able to charge only to find out there chargers do not work. We have stayed here on 6 separate occasions and this one was by far the absolute worst for the price of the hotel this hotel shouldn’t be being ran the way it is. The night auditor is the only one that cares about his guests.

While there is a lot to recommend this new hotel, not everything is fully worked out. On the positive side, service by nearly all the staff was excellent. Being new, it has a modern fresh feel to it. Rooms are good size and well laid out Very important in LA, parking is free. It is in a residential area, very close to shopping and Porter Ranch. Housekeeping not yet been figured out. Even though it was just opened, they've reverted to the COVID habit of not making up rooms during the stay. With Marriott status, they may make up the room. During our stay, they made up the room twice and missed the third time. Also, a pile of dirty towels and a bag of trash was left in the hallway for more than 36 hours. Even after it was reported to the front desk on the first day. Notwithstanding, this hotel is still recommended.

Didn't stay. Just enjoyed the ambiance before going shopping at Grocery Outlet a few doors down. Our ride dropped us off a bit early.

This hotel is a new construction, the materials and design might be new/modern but it's all a facade. EVERYTHING is broken here and while the housekeeping staff and front desk employees are kind and considerate, the management is god awful. We initially were placed in a room in which the HVAC system didn't work. Maintenance said that the hotel was having a lot of problems and to avoid the rooms at the end of the halls (red flag). We were then switched to a different room in which all the following occurred - The microwave is on a faulty breaker so the panel must be opened and the breaker switched every time you want to use it - The lighting in the kitchen went out and management's solution was to come to the room multiple times just to keep flipping the on/off switch and look at us puzzled as to why it wasn't working (the management isn't very intelligent here). 3 days later we get an electrician sent to our room who worked on the original construction and stated how the building was rushed, corners were cut, and how so many aspects of this hotel aren't up to code. He had to take apart our light switches in order to fix the problem - the toilet began to leak every time was flushed making a huge puddle in the bathroom - the smoke detector went off indiscriminately often in the middle of the night completely ruining our sleep and schedule the list goes on... we asked for some sort of compensation given the plethora of problems we had to deal with and management gave us a key to another room, that's great right? WRONG. They booked that room and we ended up walking in on another guest, absolutely ridiculous and embarrassing. The management is incredibly rude and unintelligent, do yourself a favor and steer clear of this hotel. You will regret staying here.
