Residence Inn by Marriott Monroe - Hotel in Monroe - 4960 Millhaven Rd, USA

The rooms are suite or dorm style rooms. Which I really good for bigger families. There is a full kitchen and full living room area. There is a master and second bedroom just like an apartment. The staff show their southern Louisiana hospitality to us. The breakfast was good One thing I did not like is that they did not have oatmeal. The pool area is nice, the jacuzzi was under construction. The hotel on the outside looked refurbished and new but the decor of the hallways and rooms did not match the outside of the hotel. The location is very convenient and located on the inside of the Pecanland mall and is surrounded by many food places and a local Sam's Club.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. However, I would never advise anyone to stay at this hotel. It smells bad, the refrigerator is rusty, the elevator stinks, doors need major repainting/paint (I could go on about other cosmetic features and repairs). Thank God I brought a bottle of Clorox wipes because this place is nasty.

Good clean hotel. The bed was clean and comfortable. Staff very good. Although I didn't have breakfast, they laid out a good spread.

Do not stay here. The entire property was dirty and in disrepair. The appliances were rusty. The room was dirty. The carpet was filthy. The ceiling had water damage and mold. The area is also unsafe and rundown. Keep driving.

Location poor, service not up to par. Food quality was poor, nothing fresh except bananas that were turning brown. Front desk let customer bring DOGS into eating area and where food was being presented, Some customers are allergic to dog hair, not a good situation. I feel these people should have been asked to remove the dogs from the area due to food being presented to other customers.

The staff at Residency Inn Monroe,Louisiana are absolutely wonderful and gracious;BUT THE REASON I GAVE ONLY A THREE STAR RATING IS DUE TO THE PROLIFIC SMELL OF MILDEW AND POTENTIAL BLACK MOLD THAT YOU SMELL WHEN ENTERING HOTEL HALLWAYS TO YOUR ROOM. MY ROOM DID NOT CARRY THIS SMELL-only in the hallways where they had a recent flooding, but Management refuses to replace carpet and padding , and remediate drywall that obviously sucked up the flood water. Management please note you have potential lawsuits in your future if you fail to remediate this problem!

We had a great stay. The room was great! Very close to target and some delicious food (Ronin steakhouse and sushi) We’d like to stay here again.

You couldn't ask get better location right by the mall. The room reminds you of miniature version of your home. The breakfast is a excellent verity of foods with the main options rotating daily. Very friendly staff always willing to help and assist.
