Despite coming in hot with an issue with their third party valet and laundry room, this hotel is a gem. Great location, views from restaurant and bar, excellent breakfast spread, and great team at the front desk and GM mark. Will stay here again despite our slight valet issue which hopefully is resolved quick.

Second time staying here for over a month! Super happy with housekeeping, front desk, valet, and engineering. A few front desk employees who were super kind and helpful that stood out to me are Jessica, Richard, Araceli, and Ivah: Thanks front desk! All of housekeeping staff are amazingly kind and provided excellent service! I apologize to housekeeping for my continuous calls requesting items as I did not request cleaning much because I had my 2 dogs. Thanks housekeeping! Valet is also amazingly awesome! They all did fantastic as most days they were super busy and they still provided excellent service! Kevin, Glen, and a few others stood out because of how patient they were with me since I always driving in and out with our busy schedule. Lol they did not seem to be bothered at all and they were always kind and very helpful! Thanks valet! Engineering team is also helpful, Michael and Tony are so welcoming, professional and always had a smile! Aside from great hospitality, rooms with kitchens were nice and roomy. Wi-Fi always on point. Gym and pool on site is great! Brizo restaurant and bars are also awesome! Really no complaints at all! My daughter, I, and my 2 pups enjoyed our stay both times! I recommend to book a stay!

Choose to stay here as it was the closest place to where a relative, we were visiting, lived. Overall, it was a good experience with a great view of the harbour. The staff were extremely obliging and nothing was too much trouble. The restaurant was also a nice experience. I appreciate that this is probably geared more to long stay business people, however, the room was large enough as was the bathroom, it did feel a little souless. In other words, the decor was quite dull and a kettle would of been very useful (but then I am British!). We did have the use of a car, but parking at hotel was very expensive so we didn't use the facility.|The bottom line is we would stay here again.

As an Ambassador Elite with spending over 150 nights in Hotels this is the worst!|Location is great, but everything else is just bad! Too many useless manager’s and sleepy staff. Cleaning i also think is not on a daily agenda! Front Desk Staff I am not even talking about!|Food and Beverage way overpriced for the quality of Service & Food!|Destination Fee of USD 20, like in other reviews … watch your bill! |They need a change of management immediately, because the Concept for a Residence Inn and Location is great

While I am used to far better properties in terms of facilities and hard product, I still expect welcoming and helpful staff. This is not the case at this hotel.|| As a platinum elite guest I spend a lot of time and money in hotels and with Marriott particularly. The reception lady who dealt with my check in didn’t even say welcome. She then proceeded to tell me that my rate was too low for an upgrade? I have never heard of this policy before? I travel on corporate rates for work regularly and always receive an upgrade when available. There were upgrades available however I was told I couldn’t have one because ‘my rate is too low’. I’m not sure it’s the job of the receptionist to be telling me my rate is too low. If this was the case (never heard of this at any other Marriott hotel around the world) then telling me my rate is ‘too cheap’ is not the way to go about dealing with the situation. I spoke to the manager who was able to explain with more context and respect but still no clear explanation. ||While all this happened, the receptionist then proceeded to incorrectly authorise my credit card for the room which was already pre paid. When having this issue fixed the next day, she didn’t even apologise. ||Yes this is a three star hotel and I don’t usually stay at such properties, however I expect kind and courteous staff at whatever hotel I travel too. ||This hotel is also not cheap for what it is. ||The breakfast that is included is very, very basic, I would expect a similar standard at a summer camp. The room was clean and spacious however the shower took a very, very long time to warm up. ||The gym is decent and the pool looks like it’s in a parking lot, no vibe. But overall this is a three star hotel so what can you expect. ||I think there are better options for the price point in the area and there is definitely training required for the reception staff member I dealt with at least. I respect that the job is not easy as a receptionist and I always act respectfully, I expect the same basic respect in return. ||I won’t return to this property, and would never recommend it.

If you do decide to book here, be very careful about where your room is located. There is a bar/restaurant on the second floor, basically right outside of a number of rooms with terraces. If you think that booking a room with a terrace would be a good idea, choose a different hotel. You will have ZERO privacy on the second floor, bar staff outside of your window at any given time and a bar party with DJ and loud people every Friday and Saturday evening. The rooms go at a premium based on the fact that they have a terrace, but the terrace is useless and you will have no peace on Friday or Saturday evenings. There were a handful of other issues with our stay, like how the rooms have no safe for personal belongings, limited closet space, non-working AC, only a fraction of staff speaking English, restaurant wait staff with barely any training, strangely unprofessional exchanges with valet staff, etc, but the way the hotel double dips by taking bookings for loud parties right outside of guest rooms clearly takes the cake. The only thing this hotel has going for it is the location, and they seem to be banking hard on it, thinking they can get away with anything. When it comes to our experience as guests, it was a major bait and switch - not at all reflecting of the Marriott brand. For the money we spent vs. the value we received, I unfortunately cannot give more than one star. My advice would be to take your patronage elsewhere.

While I really wanted to enjoy my stay at this hotel, I am very concerned about the fact that my purse and wallet were stolen from my LOCKED hotel room during my stay with an AirTag in them, taken to the hotel’s laundry facilities, and the situation then minimized and swept under the rug by the hotel.||The hotel at first acted helpful, but once it was clear that the laundry team was responsible, the hotel refused to assist further and distanced themselves as far as possible. More than $1k of valuables were stolen from my locked room, a major security concern to be sure.||This calls into question the culpability and involvement of hotel staff in the scheme. The investigation into this matter is ongoing but I want to warn future guests- lock all items and valuables in your room, even if the room is locked!||To the hotel, I wish you had taken more responsibility or even attempted to make this right. I would have expected much more from this chain.
