Residence Inn by Marriott Little Rock - Hotel in Little Rock - 1401 S Shackleford Rd, USA

For the majority of my trip, it was really good!|My only suggestion is to help the front desk staff be empowered to make simple decisions. I had a room that had an oven and when I went to use it, the oven did not work. The main reason I booked this space was to have a working oven. I contacted the front desk and the service was very lackluster. I was initially told there was nothing that could be done. When I pushed and asked more questions, then I was told they would contact the manager to see what could happen. Just seemed like the bare minimum of service was being provided at that time. Eventually, a swap was allowed. It would seem that this was a simple fix and the staff was not able to make that simple of an exchange without higher communication being approved. ||All other customer service at this location was excellent and staff were very friendly and helpful.

The employees were all so very nice here. From our check in with Crissy, who took me to a room to make sure it would be ok for my crippled husband, to Jennifer, who kindly assisted me with the fitness center, to Tonya, who cheerfully filled my ice chest, for our trip, we really felt like they cared and were so courteous. The breakfast was also delicious and quite varied.

We have stayed here many times. Staff has always been nice, and rooms are always clean. Breakfast well, what can I say, depends on who mans the kitchen.

Everything was perfect. I travel a lot with business and they were very welcoming. Franz, at the front desk, knows how to successfully strike the balance between friendly and engaging without being intrusive. He is very helpful. Also, the lady serving breakfast, I am sorry I did not get her name, was super friendly and attentive. If you want to feel like your at home when traveling do yourself a favor and stay here.

Stayed here in July. Location is great and the employees were all nice. The room had a little more wear and tear than I would have expected but not all people treat hotel rooms like their own house! I will be staying here again when I visit LR.

Very unprofessional staff. Checkout isn't until 12 pm, yet housekeeping knocked on our door incessantly at 9 am, waking our baby up. We arrived at 3 am, so neither the baby nor we got our rest. What was the point of knocking 3 hours before checkout? Yep, we're done with Marriott and will stick to Hilton going forward.

Not as nice as their downtown Little Rock location, but our stay went well. Beware, however, if you reside within 60 miles of this location and are looking for a weekend getaway. There is a deposit required here -$250 credit card, $500 cash. I'm a Marriott Bonvoy member, and I've never encountered such a thing. This is not posted at the check-in desk, whereas there are other notices of pet deposits and/or credit/debit card holds. During a previous stay, this was not required, and upon checkout, the morning clerk even questioned this requirement. I travel extensively, having a membership with Hilton, also. I highly recommend Homewood Suites for that matter.

We crashed here for the night on a family road trip. Our door to the room was really loud, squeaky, and would stick. The gas meter/pipe near the entrance to our building A smelled really strong, so you'd smell the gas coming in and out of the building. Breakfast was standard and staff were friendly.
