Residence Inn by Marriott Lafayette - Hotel in Lafayette - 3834 Grace Ln, USA

An excellent hotel. Very good breakfast options. Clean and safe environment. Rooms are perfect and spacious. Only issue was with some guests 'always' smoking near the rear/side entrance. Wish there was designated space across the parking lots or at least 20' away from entrances.

I had a long stay for 5 months (Jul-Nov'23). I would highly recommend the hotel for its customer friendly environment, for example, continued maintenance of utilities, room and overall cleanliness and above all nice people - housekeepers, kitchen keepers, reception and everyone! I would like to mention the names - Laura (chief) and Danielle for their professional and consistent efforts towards making my stay a great experience! There were times when housekeeping was missed, they offered me extra bonus rewards points too! The location of the hotel is strategic too - you find everything withing 2-3 miles as it is on South St - Walmart, gas station, dozen of food places, shopping center, health centers/ clinics, rental car center, Target, Academy Sports, etc. are, in fact, within a mile itself.

We had a perfect stay at the Residence Inn. We were traveling to Indy to see the B1G Championship Game on Saturday night (GO BLUE) and wanted a place north of the city so my brother could have a shorter drive back to Minnesota on Sunday. Our room was great, comfortable, quiet and had all the amenities. When we checked in we were given goodie bags (a nice touch) and a warm greeting by the clerk. A great hotel which is maintained as well as any hotel I have stayed in (like new).

Overnight stay at this Residence Inn. The staff were friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was well-supplied and very good. The rooms were clean but furnishings very tired and threadbare arm rests on the living room chair and worn carpeting. . We appreciate having the cook top and dishes to make a simple supper. The laundry room is large with 3 washers/ dryers-they are credit card operated, which is very convenient. Ample parking-my GPS took me a circuitous route entering through the back of the hotel complex without good signage-I’m still not certain if there was a better entrance.

The room was clean and comfortable. The staff is friendly and helpful. There are just a couple of small details that keep me from giving it 5 stars. There was no shampoo. The dispensers in the shower had two bottles for body wash gels and one for conditioner. The toilet ran continuously even after jiggling the handle. We pre-arranged a noon check-out AND had the 'Do Not Disturb' hanging on the door and yet housekeeping knocked on our door at 10:15am. The breakfast had a great selection and two really hard working attendents and yet, many things (bacon and coffee) were empty for much of the time we were there. We'll stay here again because it's a great location with reasonable rates.

Clean, updated hotel. Impressed with their breakfast! Not the standard Marriott breakfast you would get at this tier hotel. The differences/additions - had pearl sugar waffles, blueberry compote, individual containers of plain Greek yogurt, soufflé. They did a good job with the eggs and sausage too. Breakfast service and Bar service was excellent. Super helpful, friendly and accommodating staff when my wife needed help with some food allergies. (Thank you Colleen!!)

Arrived at the hotel and the front desk was very accommodating. When we got to our room….. the bathroom sink looked like it wasn’t cleaned properly. Then there was a used loofa in the shower. Then we noticed that the couch leg was broken. So at this point I asked my husband to report the issue. We then opened the fridge and it was filthy. The room clearly had not been cleaned properly. The night clerk did give us a new room. The new room was clean and well maintained. Kudos also to the front desk when we checked out. They asked why we had changed rooms and when we told them, they offered points, free snacks from the pantry, and really was so apologetic about the issue. It was gross to start out… but appreciated the response.

Best hotel breakfast I have ever had, anywhere. It's insane. The rooms are basically 4 star quality and couldn't be better. Would highly recommend this place.
