Residence Inn by Marriott Dallas Plano/Richardson - Hotel in Plano - 1705 E President George Bush Hwy, USA

I want to first say this is by far the best hotel my family has stayed at. It's so cozy I literally feel at home and forgot that I'm 4 states away from home. The customer service is so genuine and very much appreciated. Joyce was friendly, welcoming and sincerely hospitalble. The rooms are clean, the kitchens are a blessing, the beds are comfy. When deciding on a hotel the first thing I consider is how it smells as soon as I walk into the hotel, followed by the elevator and then the hallways if any of these areas smell bad it us a tell tell sign about the cleanliness of the facility.This hotel smelled so clean and fresh I was very grateful. Especially considering I had to leave a hotel due to the smell of the musty elevator and hallways. Also breakfast is great, lots of options. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

I'm actually a local, and I am staying here through my home insurance because of a burst pipe in my home. This is the 3rd hotel since the incident (holiday inn express next door being one 😬), but this one is by far the best. Will most likely be staying for upwards of a month, and I'm not mad about it. Very spacious room, great shower, having the kitchen area is nice & fridge is full size. Great coffee in the morning. All around, I may even miss having someone help me clean up by the time the house is done. 10/10. The only thing I can even think to mention as a potential negative is that the water is soft here, which I know as a local that the rest of this water in the area is not - so I'm thinking they must have their own water treatment. I'll get over it because of all the other great assets! Highly recommend!

Great stay, and excellent service. Joyce at the front desk was incredibly helpful and just a very genuine person. Hope she gets some recognition for the work she puts into making this place run as smoothly as it did during our brief stay. Rooms were clean and as advertised.

I've stayed here on 8 different occasions now, and I'm never disappointed. The staff are super friendly & professional. Rooms are very well maintained and very clean. Breakfast is very nice too.

Sorry folks, your error started this mess and marriott corporate made it worse. I am a lifetime Titanium customer. I have stayed about 4 years of my life in a Marriott hotel. Your anual choice award is important to me. For some reason the year end stay was posted wrong. I emailed customer support. They are HORRIBLE, they mean well they just don't grasp English. After screweing around with them for 6 days, my coice (no email ever sent) was defaulted to the USELESS "suite upgrade choice. What a crock! By the time I got the BS the incompetent customer service was asking for the choice deadline had expired (again, no email). That's fine Hilton will match the status. I am going there and I am done staying with a company that is so unbelieveably incompetent and frankly uncaring. The "free night" that I earned is going to cost Marriott as much pain as I can inflict.

The hotel is nicer than I thought it would be. I've stayed at Residence Inn in other cities but I must say this is the nicest room I've been in. The bed was comfortable, and the television worked without much effort which isn't always the case. The check in experience was easy and the free breakfast was good, not great but better than average. An overall good experience.

Positive: The room was in line with other similarly priced hotels, but I really liked the walk in shower with glass wall and no shower curtain. Breakfast was not outstanding,but definitely nice. Negative: No.

Room 408 Jan. 16 The housekeeper who cleaned this room needs more training. Black hair everywhere and the room had a horrific smell that would not go away.
