Residence Inn by Marriott Boston Dedham - Hotel in Dedham - 259 Elm St, USA

Family had a wonderful stay at the Residence Inn. From check-in to check-out, the staff were incredibly friendly, helpful, and professional. The front desk staff quickly got me checked into our room. The room itself was very clean, spacious, and comfortable, with a large common space, nice kitchen, and spacious bathrooms. The Inn's amenities were more than expected. The indoor pool area was relaxing, with plenty of space to swim if desired. The fitness center was well-equipped. The location is was centrally located, close to the highway. Overall a good experience.

Completely disappointed with room I would say for a 3star hotel I was definitely over charged the room was $320 for the day and because I needed and early check in. Was charged another $140. Paid $460 for one night Wasn’t even told that at check in found out when checking out. Definitely would never come back. I guess being a Bonvoy member with 57 stays last year alone doesn’t get you better rates

The team is super nice. The lady at the breakfast, just everyone. |I like the room as It is a one bedroom. Super spacious and I really have enough space. Utensil for cooking is also there. But I if you would like to enjoy some restaurants, just walk over to legacy place, a 5 min walk and you will find plenty of those.

First they tried to put a $250 hold on my room, but lowered it to $105 when I complained. Our room had painters tape on the air vent in the bedroom to hold it up on the wall. The shower area had rust and structural issues like baseboards peeling away from the wall. One of the stove top knobs was torn off. The pull out sofa bed was absolutely ridiculous, very loose frame and the mattress was pretty much just springs and cloth. We had to put the mattress on the floor to make it sleep able. The couch cushions were well stained. We requested extra blankets and pillows since the reservation was for 3 people. We got one extra pillow and a very thin throw. I expect this low quality from cheaper hotels. For $200/night I expected better. We even found dirt in the corners of the rooms and Bobby pins on the carpet as soon as we walked into the room. The room was well sound proofed considering I could hear very loud laughing and talking in the hallway but could not hear it once inside our room. I will say the staff were very nice especially the breakfast people. Although, if check out is set for noon please don't send housekeeping to check on us at 10am. We still had members of our party sleeping after a late night.

The worst Marriot property i experienced so far. Awful breakfast with frozen bagels and scones, scramble made from egg beaters and frozen quiche that is warmed. Very noisy AC and clogged bath tubs

Rooms were very clean, breakfast was consistent with a nice lunch lady. Had an issue with a loud neighbor, but staff were responsive in handling the issue.

Hotel is a great price and our room was perfect! Clean, spacious, and comfortable. We had many conversations with the staff and everyone was so pleasant and welcoming. The location is walkable to many restaurants, shops, and even one of the train stops so you can utilize the public transportation. We loved our stay and will be back if we are ever in the area again!

My experience started before I even arrived as I had to call regarding an early check-in and a crib for my young child. The staff was really helpful and got the room ready early for us and put a crib inside so we'd have it upon arrival. Sue and Tamika were working the front desk and they were very welcoming. Sue gave us a better room for our family of 4 and my kids loved it! My son was excited about the pool and used it 2x during our one night stay. The two bedroom and two bathroom suite is perfect for a family of 4. The couch has a pull out bed and there are 3 tvs, a bar height table and chairs, and a smaller coffee table that is designed to hang over the couch if needed so it worked great for letting our toddler snack on the little table neatly.||||Every staff member in the hallway greeted us and the woman working the breakfast clearly takes a lot of pride in her work and was so helpful to everyone. When she brought out hot food to refill the buffet she carried it around offering it to anyone that was already seated. She asked if we needed anything else and made sure everything was stocked. I have stayed at many Residence Inns and I can say the variety at this breakfast was the best I've seen. Many prepackaged things you could take back to your room (yogurt, muffins, cereal, oatmeal, breakfast sandwiches) along with eggs, sausage, waffles, french toast, etc. ||||Susan and her staff are doing a great job. I would definitely recommend this location and we would stay here again if we are in the area.
