Residence Inn by Marriott Anaheim Hills Yorba Linda - Hotel in Anaheim - 125 S Festival Dr, USA

As a member of Marriott, I have stayed in many Marriott hotels. This hotel located in Anaheim hill was my worst stay. The hotel facilities are very old, and they still maintain the rules during the pandemic, cleaning the guest rooms only once every 7 days. I stayed there on the tenth day and made several calls to urge them before they came to clean the guest rooms. The hotel facilities are very poor. There is only one treadmill in the gym that can be operated. The shower in the room is always cold during peak hours. I called someone to repair it, and they said that there was no repairman at night and they could only come during the day. But the hot water is normal during the day, so I basically can't take a shower at night. What makes people crazy is that the attitude of the front desk staff is extremely bad. When I call them, no one often answers the phone. Finally, someone answers the phone and they are perfunctory in various ways. I had no choice but to run downstairs and find them directly. What I faced was a female receptionist wearing glasses who argued with me loudly and rudely. With such a high hotel price and such an experience, I really don't recommend staying here

Was here for 5 nights middle of May 2024. Family of 2 adult, 2 children under 12. 1 bedroom suite. ROOM Large, comfortable, clean, functional, exactly as shown on pictures. Bed was comfortable, pull out on the older side, mattress needs replacement. Kitchen is well equipped. Lots of shampoo and body wash, good quality. POOL AREA / Fire Pit Area Clean. Relaxing. Hot tub is working well. Lots of Towels. STAFF Front Desk staff are helpful and very friendly, approachable and willing to assist. Kitchen Staff does their job well and keeps the food supplies well stock. Staff are responsive to request. Maintenance yard workers are constantly cleaning and tidying up the place. Everyone does their job well. BREAKFAST They did not cheap out on food. Area is bright clean not congested. Easy to access. Outdoor sitting also available. Food was a nice surprise not your typical hotel breakfast. Yogurt Parfait bar, variety of warm options, keto options, low carb stuff, vegetarian friendly, kids friendly. Coffee is great, even had cold brew. Free breakfast was very much appreciated. This was a pleasant experience. POINTS OF INTEREST 20 Minutes to Disneyland, Outlet Stores, Anaheim Packing District. 1 hour to Downtown L.A., 45 minutes to LAX, 1 - 1.5 hr to Universal Studios. Groceries walking distance to Target. Lots of eateries within 5-minute drive or less. Gasoline station & banks in the area as well. LOCATION & CONVENIENCE Area is safe, quiet, hilly, relaxing, no traffic. Great for Family heading to Disneyland. They also have long term (returner) clients as this is Marriott Residence This has been a very comfortable stay. Highly recommended.

Very good service, staff tried to help as quickly as possible with problems. Justin is very helpful and honest with everything. Guía is very friendly and made our stay great. Great fire and atmosphere outside in the courtyard

I originally booked a suite, but upon arrival, I was given a studio. When I questioned the downgrade, the night shift attendant explained that they were overbooked. The next morning, I spoke with the manager, who claimed the AC in my booked room was broken and would be fixed that day. However, I caught him off guard by asking which room that was, and he couldn’t provide an answer. They did offer to switch me to a different room the following day, but I didn’t want to deal with the hassle. Interestingly, when I initially booked online, the studio room was priced at $700.00, but after the switch, they charged me $784.00. Additionally, the pull-out sofa bed in the studio was dreadful due to the uncomfortable metal bars. We ended up moving the mattress to the floor, where we unfortunately discovered urine stains on it

Let's start with the good thing, location and breakfast. The room though is below average, toilet shower is leaking and AC was hardly blowing cold air at 64! And noisy

Low key place. Rooms are very old and basic. No benefits for platinum. However staff is great. They help to use the dryer machine. Breakfast is average . Pit fire is nice and there is an outdoor pool

This was by far the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. My room smelled like a combination of cigarette smoke, marijuana and mold. The bathroom walls were covered in mold and had obvious water damage under the wallpaper. They would not relocate me and did not "attempt" to fix the problem until the next evening. For my 3 day mold exposure symptoms they gave me a whopping 2000 point credit. We had a large group and their rooms also smelled bad.

Awesome location for parks. Mall across the street. Burger joint shares parking lot. Gas station across the street. Pool, fire pit, basketball ball. Breakfast was great, service very nice. Good value
