Great location within walking distance of everything you could want in Breckenridge. Rooms are halfway updated, some of the furniture is old. The bed was very uncomfortable like sleeping on a concrete slab. the bed pillows also were shaped more like oversize bolsters. Really odd. I don’t like Marriot’s new policy of not using top sheets. I understand the environmental reasons, but it feels less hygienic, improper and less comfortable. The shower only had half of a glass partition door, so it was difficult to keep water from getting on the floor. very weird. Parking garage is tight & difficult to navigate at times.
It's hard to beat a suite hotel where you have a separate room as a living room and a good sized kitchen. Not that we really used the kitchen, but there was a lot of space to stretch out during our three days there. ||The king sized bed was comfortable. There was a plethora of pillows available. The bathroom featured a walk in shower with plenty of water pressure (which is always critical in a good hotel!). The black out curtains in the separate bedroom were perfect and the exterior noise was minimal because of the the way this 4-story hotel stretches in from the main drag. ||Finally, what a great breakfast. Sure, the standard stuff like scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, etc. But what made it so great was the attendants who constantly resupplied everything down to the cereal, bread, and yogurt. There was plenty of seating and, for once, not a giant TV featuring the morning news droning in the background. ||The next time I am in town, this would be a solid first choice.
The room and location were wonderful! You could walk right into town if you wanted. The pool and hotel were beautiful. Breakfast was amazing and the breakfast/housekeeping staff were friendly and professional. My only reason for taking away a star was because the parking garage was tight and difficult to get in and out of, and the front desk staff was not friendly at all. A smile would go a long way on their part.
Made a last minute reservation here for two nights and I was pleasantly surprised.
Great location, clean and spacious room (we went with the 1-bedroom suite) with a full kitchen area that was stocked with supplies to cook some meals yourself.
Breakfast has a good variety and the food is what you would expect for a hotel breakfast. Pancake and waffle makers!
The pool and hot-tub area was the star of the show! Gorgeous views while relaxing there, though both are small and it got pretty packed.
Big bummer for us was that the bar and restaurant were closed our whole stay, and they said it would be for the following week.
Overall, we would stay here again.
Overall very nice location, quiet and peaceful. The showers water pressure were very low, making us take longer showers to rinse off the shampoos and soap. There are also some vents there were completely filthy and needed to be changed out. They were noted when you walk the up and downstairs.
I booked a 3 day reservation for my wife and my 10-year anniversary. We’ve done this three other times, as the hotel is amazing! Clean, great service, etc. However, this anniversary trip my wife got covid and lost her hearing temporarily from it, so we could not make the trip. I booked through Expedia months prior and did not buy cancel insurance, so Expedia would not cancel/refund. Thinking i was out all that money, i decided to call front desk and see if anything could be done. I spoke with Scott and explained the situation. He said, “no problem! We’ll cancel with no fees”. I explained, but I didn't buy cancel insurance, and he still told me that was ok and canceled it and then advised me to call Expedia so they could confirm his approval. I did what Scott said, and i did get a full refund from Expedia same day. At end of my call with Scott, he ended it by wishing my wife a full recovery, which i thought was very nice! They have definitely earned my business and although we’ve stayed here before, it will always be undoubtably our #1 choice for staying in Breck!!! THANK YOU, SCOTT!! You truly went above and beyond.
It is not a fancy 5 star but it is an attractive, large, well run and maintained resort hotel. We would definitely stay there again.|Pro's:|- Nice size room including small kitchen, dinning area, good size bath.|- Our room was in good shape and super clean.|- Lot's of hooks for jackets, hats, clothing and in bathroom (a pet peeve of mine that most hotels don't provide hooks and you have to throw clothing on chairs or hang in closet)|- Good location -- just on the edge of the downtown so easy to walk to restaurants and shops|- comfy beds|- Helpful staff|- Decent lighting|- Decent breakfast offerings including a few hot items|- Laundry room|Con's:|- Pool on the small side but OK|- A lot of noise from hallway (why don't hotels seal the gap on the bottom of room doors? The five star hotels do, the rest seem to leave a gap that let's hall way noise in)|- breakfast area can get crowded but they do provide trays to bring food to your room
We were in a Studio/2 Queen/Sofa bed room. Our family of four was pleasantly surprised by the extra space in the room, and a full size fridge, stove top, pans to cook in, plates & silverware, and dishwasher - as well as a Scrub Mommy, dish soap, and dishwasher tablet to use. Plus, the room had a humidifier available for use! Also, there is a small outdoor pool and hot tub on the rooftop which was a pleasant surprise. For the cost of $250 for the night in mid-June, I walked in feeling hesitation about paying so much, but the amenities - and fantastic breakfast - showed their worth.
Stayed in one of the Penthouses on the 6th floor. Fantastic views. Ski in Ski out. Quicksilver lift is right out the back door. Hot tub inside and outside. Sauna. Room slept 12 people. Had a fireplace and was perfect. We will be back.
Our son absolutely loved the arcade here! Itâs one of the best indoor places to take kids in Breckenridge. Plus thereâs an ice cream shop in the front!
Absolutely loved the mines tour with Michael, heâs so full of fun knowledge and delivers the info so well!
Another shot out to Cory the operations manager of the monster truck sleigh rides. He gave my family a fun and great experience going the ext
Craved a flavorful, tasty and fresh meal after wandering the town. I am lucky to have found Mount Golian Grill. This restaurant is clean, nicely decorated and cozy. The food was phenomenal and the service was great. I can only highly recommend it.
Loved the salsas and rose pork. Wish there was more avocado and tomato, but Iâve never had tlayudas before. Very tasty! Also had a breakfast burrito (no pic) and it was bomb.
We loved the breakfast and bakery items here. Get the Turkey and Cheese sandwich, Cinnamon Brioche, and Pain Au Chocolat Croissants. All of those were excellent. The latte was also very good. The staff were very nice and patient, place was clean, and
My family enjoyed this trail. We did a total of 4.5 miles. If you are not used to the altitude (we're from Ohio) it can be difficult at times. Make sure to bring water, wear sunscreen, and be prepared to get your shoes dusty. We didn't see any wildli
