If you can not make it to the hotel the night you are supposed to come: do not bother much: when you call to tell them the situation, you will be taken to a Marriot central call center, they will take the note but that note will never make it to the hotel system. They will take your reservation/room and give it to someone else, and when you arrive the next day for the remainder of your stay (original reservation) it won't be available... (no matter you still see the reservation in the Marriot Bonvoy app).. the front desk person won't have a clue what could happen, and point you to the nearest Hilton (competitor) hotel that might have a room available, carrying nothing about your Marriot Bonvoy membership. the hotel looks nice on the front desk, but the systems to coordinate with the central Marriot systems and call center are worthless. be careful.

Hunter the front desk individual was amazing. No issues made everything ez to sign in and parking 10/10 of employee no issues always had a great attitude. Really manager position without a doubt.

This is a relatively new hotel in Brea and hence, the room is large and clean, the hotel facilities likewise are very well designed and new. Location is great too as its walking distance to the Brea Mall and they have ample car park although it's not free ($10/day). They have a nice pool area and bbq area which doesn't seem to be used for now. Gym and laundry room ($3 per wash/dry) is good too as shown in pics. The only downside is that they don't provide complimentary water (even for Gold elite) or laundry pods. Small issue but in some Marriott Hotels, these are free. Overall no complains at all.

We made our annual pilgrimage to the eastern part of Los Angeles for Thanksgiving and decided to try the relatively new Residence Inn in Brea.||||Here are some of the pros and cons of our 3 night stay:||||Pros:||- Location is fine. On the perimeter of the Brea Mall and central to roads and attractions.||||- Both the inside and outside of the hotel are nice and shiny. Our room still had a fresh smell like you get from a new car. The property was very welcoming.||||- Breakfast had a good size buffet with several more things than you find at the typical morning selection. Most items seemed to be as fresh as possible.||||- Eating area was large and attractive. More like a restaurant and lounge than the “meeting room” type facility we’ve seen in other places.||||- All the employees we met were friendly and helpful. Lots of smiles.||||- Parking was plentiful around 3 sides of the building||||- Shower pressure was about the best I’ve ever had. It worked out the kinks in my neck!||||Cons:||- Breakfast is only available until 9 AM Monday through Friday. We’d extend that to 10 AM like they do on Saturday and Sunday. Business people might fit into that 6-9 AM slot, but almost everyone we saw was part of a family.||||- At peak breakfast times, the hotel was definitely short on employees. Despite their best effort, lots of things ran out and took a while to be replenished.||||- Parking was $10 per day which I never saw mentioned online or in person until I saw the bill at checkout||||- A very pretty woman at the front desk checked us out, but her hands were covered in tattoos which was a bit off-putting. Those were the only parts visible to us.||||- Housekeeping at most hotels has been curtailed since the Covid epidemic started. The Residence Inn is no different. Regular service is once every 3 days. Replacement of towels and emptying of trash is every other day…..although we asked for new towels before then without a problem. The hallways seemed to need vacuuming a bit more often than they got.||||After trying many other hotels from Diamond Bar to Brea over the years, we’re already making reservations for a return to the Residence Inn in a few months.

Well lots of confusion 1st day room was accidentally clean as check out causing them to throw out food I purchased they had most of my products never got back cleaning wipes or large bottle of Johnson’s baby lotion but I managed not many choices for breakfast also homeless people living in the parking lot in black truck I’m praying for them but over all decent hotel, not the best if u don’t get a good park n have to enter from other doors the elevator is a long ways from entrance but ok…the best part about my stay for sure is the young man with reddish brown hair (Hunter)made my day every evening he has an amazing attitude he helped me tremendously my first few days and for that I am thankful, I seriously wanted to check into another hotel but his energy alone help me determine I was in a good place.

This is a very new hotel hence come with the benefits of being new that everything is clean yet the process is quite efficient. ||The google maps showed the area seems quite deserted but to our pleasant surprise it is within a well established modern office park and there are shops nearby. ||The space of the “suite” as priced as double room is more than enough for two people or a small family of four. Like the ambience of the atrium and reception area, the pool area also looks nice but we didn’t use it.

New build, but warning the A/C has motion sensors and a pathetic temp range (nothing a you tube video won't fix) but it's supposed to be a home away from home and I like to sleep in a meatlocker.. so I juiced it and made it nice and cold 24/7 🥶
