Food was fresh and just like home made cooking. The staff was friendly and like any good Filipino place felt like talking to family. Will definitely stop in again next time I am in the city. The Place is busy but the wait is not long. Great for groups. Portions are sharable. Drinks are made fresh.
I'm rating Renee's 3 start which is good. A fine neighborhood place filled with locals clearly enjoying themselves. Just a hole in the wall which might be an authentic thing. Had BBQ chicken Garlic Rice and a spicy cabbage slaw. I enjoyed it and for $10 it might be the deal of the century. The service was a little disjointed but thats part of the charm. FYI the bill was handwritten and included a 20% service fee and 3.3% cc fee. Please pay attention as they didnt tell us this. I think you should go and give it a try. 3 stars is fair and its really a little bit lower. Remember that 3 is good
My Go-To place for home cooking style Filipino food in Queens. My family and I have been coming here ever since this place opened in the 90s. Always have to get an order of sago at gulaman, lumpiang Shanghai, tapsilog and the BBQ Chicken meal with garlic fried rice. The halo halo here is also good but I just never have room after stuffing myself silly. The service is OK, not stellar, but that's what you can expect from these kind of joints. They're always super nice so that's a plus. I brought my group of friends here for lunch and would keep introducing this place to any of my non Filipino friends if they ever want to try authentic Filipino food. The prices are also great. 4 of us all had entrees, drinks and 2 appetizers to share and the bill was $100.
Amazing Filipino spot!!! The plates are amazing!!! The food is extremely well flavoured and it definitely is a spot where Filipino families come for weekend meals!!! Definitely recommend going with a group to try the different assortments and have an amazing time!!! I imagine that the deserts are amazing as well!!! Definitely recommend Renee's!!!
I have been coming to Renee’s for many many years. I love their “silog” combos specially the fried longganisa. For me, it is the best on the menu. The combination of flavors are perfect, not too sweet and not too salty. The side vinegar adds the perfect tanginess. The outside skin is super crispy and yet the inside is moist. I just love it and I wish I could cook my longganisa like that at home. This weekend I also tried their lumpiang sariwa and tokwa’t baboy. The lumpia was just OK. The fresh wrapper was a little too thick to my liking. The veggies and sauce also lack flavor. The tokwa’t baboy was also just OK. I’ve had better version else where. The tokwa was crispy but lacks the vinegar flavor. The baboy kinda tastes like adobo with “umay” factor. I will definitely stick with my silog combos.
Good authentic Filipino food, poor ventilation. We sat near the back and the smoke from the kitchen was overpowering the dining area. Tables are also a bit tight. Some pieces of the chicken adobo was cold in the middle so I’m assuming it was possibly frozen and reheated. The garlic fried rice was good albeit a little on the dry side. The pata and sisig were delicious. I also got the halo halo. First time having it and it was really good. The restaurant was packed and it’s first come first serve. Good takes a bit a while for it to come out so be prepared to wait when it’s busy.
Definitely not one of those pretentious establishments that offer Filipino fare, Renee's actually delivers on quality Filipino comfort food -- with generous servings and at affordable prices, too. What they lack in frills they more than make up for in scrumptious dishes that are, if not close to authentic. Filipino (Pampangueño, to be exact) cuisine at its best! Warm service, ice-cold beers, upstairs seating for private functions, and a homey feel all add up to a casual dining experience you'd love to return to, and enjoy again and again.
The service was just amazing locally owned mom and pop shop. I ABSOLUTELY love the music ! The BBQ was mouthwatering fresh and delicious ! I highly recommend you make your way here !

The cleanest butcher in Queens along with the nicest kindest people. My wife has been coming here for ten years. This is the place we go for the best meat to dry and make our own jerky, my wife is from Bhutan and dried meat is a must have to cook wit
Went here twice and the drinks were amazing!! Refreshingly sweet, enough tables to grab for work, nice place to hang out too. Staff were friendly. Clean bathroom. I havenât tried their food menu yet but next time i will.
An oasis in our community. Recently had a large renovation done. The dog run isn't very good though, but at least they added stairs. However, any night you might find a bunch of dogs and their owners playing off leash on the big hill. They all seem
