The hotel's condition is impeccable, featuring contemporary amenities and a serene ambiance. It commenced operations in April of this year, guaranteeing the absence of any maintenance concerns. Although not situated in the epicenter of the tourist district, its location remains conveniently accessible. The Ala Moana Center, a renowned shopping mall with an extensive food court, high-end boutiques, and department stores, is within walking distance or a short ride-sharing service. For those who prefer not to walk, various destinations are easily reachable via ride-sharing services. The attached images provide exterior views, while the video captures the brief fireworks display hosted by the Hilton hotel every Friday.

Perfect Hotel in the heart of Honolulu. The Residences showcases the best views from the top 9 floors. Full service hotel with amazing pools, fitness center and an array of amenities including the Japanese Style Spa, poolside BBQ cabanas, in room washer/dryer & kitchenette!! The beds are extremely comfortable, the PERFECT hotel for R&R & non-leisure travelers ( ideal for extended stays). Live like a local in these high end condos. Save some money and cook your own meals with local produce accessible across the street. Behind Ala Moana Shopping center, you could literally walk to a different restaurant for breakfast, lunch & dinner and never run out of options (if you prefer). Love the location and this hotel, all the amenities & staff. All the hotel services & more including the private shuttle. Exactly as pictured, away from the madness of Waikiki -definitely a Honolulu Must Stay!

First off, this isn't a 5 Star hotel. It's really a 3 Star. I've stayed in 4 Star and 5 Star hotels many times. It's a very new hotel (more on this shortly) but it's not a 5. Second, I chose this hotel because it appeared to have good cooking facilities in each room. That wasn't exactly the case. The refrigerator doesn't have a freezer. The oven is actually a convection microwave. Everything about this hotel is a little bit off and compromised. For example, there's no iron, just a steamer. We also had issues with housekeeping. In addition to being understaffed (I overheard one housekeeper saying that she still had 26 rooms left at 6pm), the staff doesn't seem to have a protocol for long stays. We had to request they change the sheets and the housekeeper was a little resistant explaining that they do that when we leave. We countered with "we've been here a week and will be here for 2 more". They seem pretty overworked and only do a light cleaning even if you obviously need a bit more. We also had issues with our TV rebooting itself ever couple minutes and disconnecting our apps - making Netflix impossible to watch. I should also say that the hotel attempted to charge us $55/day for parking even though we never utilized this service. When we dropped our bags on day 1, the valet asked for my last name. Apparently they took that as "let's charge you automatically and without consent". The front desk did remove the charge without issue but make sure you pay attention. Now let's talk about plusses - the hotel is very new so it's in good shape. The restaurant (Mara) was a highlight of our trip. The pool is nice. The staff were friendly. The location is pretty good for access to Ala Moana Mall, Target, and Walmart. We liked some of the touches in the room (lighted closet, motion sensor night light in the bathroom). The gym was also great.

Perfect location, especially for extended stay. Removed from the touristy hustle and bustle of Honolulu hotels, situated on the equally beautiful Ala Moana Beach. They also offer a shuttle to Waikiki when you prefer that vibe. Amazing pool, spa, and amenities on sky deck. Restaurant was delicious and convent as well. Reserve a BBQ cabana and pick out some delicious local fresh seafood to bbq pool side.

Don't Stay here!! The area is rough! Towels all had stains on them. Walls dirty, carpet had so much dirt and debris. Hot tub/spa ground was slimy and grossed me out. Male housecleaner insisted on letting himself in late in day around 6pm. CREEPY!!! Spoke with the manager Tim and he was no help.

AVOID if you want a Marriott: the Residences portion of this hotel does not participate in Bonvoy, despite nothing saying such on the website, app or email confirmations. Additionally, the room description of the Residences is extremely misleading compared to the tiny 1-chair room I saw. Their website is completely detached from reality in terms of describing ocean views, room features, etc. I can deal with a few glitches at a brand new hotel, but their issues cross into the deceptive category. I expect far, far better from Marriott. This property's actions are damaging the Marriott name and brand. UPDATE: Marriott corporate has reached out, but still was vague on this property participating in Bonvoy. They did update their terms to say this property does NOT participate; yet they offer a "Bonvoy Members only" rate... just shows how messed up this company is.

Everything about this hotel screams 5 stars, they have an amazing spa, beautiful pools, everything is brand new, so it’s as clean as it can be. This would have been a five star experience if it weren’t for what all had happened. First off, our room did not get cleaned daily despite what we were told. After a few days, we learned that if we come back to our room before 5pm, our room is not going to be cleaned that day. And by day 4, we learned that if we want to make sure that our room is cleaned, we had to schedule housekeeping with the front desk not with the housekeeping line bc that line is never picked up and if you leave a voicemail, it’s ignored. So this leads to the second part of the story. We traveled with a 10 month old and babies are bound to have dirty diapers! When we checked in, we were told that they don’t have a diaper pail, and we should leave the diapers by our door and call housekeeping. I did exactly that. Nobody came. Since our room wasn’t cleaned daily, the diapers piled up! What’s worse was that our neighbor would kick the diapers to the threshold of our door (where we would step on them if we weren’t looking). This kept happening, so one night, I walked down to the front desk and told the staff about this. I asked that they have housekeeping come more often, so that my neighbor could be less mad. The diaper that was out when I told the staff about this was still by our door the next day. A few more nights later, one lady took a picture of our room number and the pile of diapers and complained to the hotel. And guess what the hotel staff did, they sided with the bully. I was told that I wasn’t supposed to leave the diapers by the door and I was supposed to put them in a plastic bag. I said, ok, give me a plastic bag. That bag never came. If you are traveling with your young ones, think twice.

Exactly like the hotel units but with the added convenience of having a washer/dryer, kitchen and the epic views! Such a vibe, love it here!!!
