Renaissance Milwaukee West Hotel - Hotel in Wauwatosa - 2300 N Mayfair Rd, USA

We used the Renaissance hotel for our wedding weekend! We had rooms blocked out for guests here and we also stayed here for the weekend! If you use them for a wedding block, they will upgrade your room to a suite! The suite was wonderful! It was spacious. Very modern looking hotel. Everything was clean! We were able to fit 12 people in the suite for getting ready for the wedding! There was an iron and board included. Something I wished they could have helped me with was loading all of my bags up to the room, instead they just gave me a cart. Overall, we were happy with our choice for this hotel for our wedding weekend!

Well I wasn't aware my room didn't have a tub. Buy the stand up shower was nice. My lights by the bed side didn't work. The safe was dead. Otherwise everything was great. You have to pay 12$ to park your car. No pool or spa. Nothing is labeled until you get to the floor. There's a gym on the 12th floor. Room was clean and comfortable. Ac worked great. Curtains close all the way tv was fine.

Renaissance Milwaukee West Hotel is a great choice! Every single team member that I encountered was friendly and hospitable. Angel and Jasmine at the front desk, Charles in the concierge lounge and Christina in Housekeeping truly elevated my experience. Angel & Jasmine were incredibly helpful with all of my requests. Charles was so kind and hospitable while I enjoyed breakfast in the concierge lounge. Thank you to all 3 of you!!

I have been here multiple times, and while I like the rooms and staffing / faculty, it's the mall overnight parking fees that will make me go elsewhere. To send X amount of dollars for the room and to pay additional parking has sort of left me feeling some kind of way. I woke up and got to my rental to see a parking ticket on the car. Now I marched up to the front desk and they had told me the parking lot company makes ALL the patrons that's there overnight has to pay as of the date 9/7/2024, it's $14/night. I've seen higher parking (I live in Dallas Tx) but even they have free parking for the patrons. So unless you're getting dropped off or leaving for the evening, make sure you pay that fee to park. I hope this helps with any future patrons.

Great Service at the Renaissance Milwaukee. From check-in to additional questions, very service driven and keep customers satisfied. The location is good, mall, food around the area. The rooms are nicely designed and maintained. Will definitely stay again when.

I travel frequently for work and have spent about 75 nights here over the past year. I stay at a number of Marriot properties across the country and this one is hands down my favorite. The customer service is outstanding, I've not encountered a more friendly and professional group of people anywhere. I'm always greeted with a smile and they go out of their way to make my stay as comfortable as possible. The rooms are always very clean and the concierge lounge staff go out of the way to meet my needs. It's no coincidence when 100% of the staff you encounter at a property are top notch. Hats off to Veronica and all of the leadership at the Milwaukee Renaissance West! I wouldn't think of staying anywhere else when I'm in Milwaukee.

I love d hotel as it's beautiful and clean, but i had a bad experience with one of the waiters on the 19th of July at the restaurant, she was very rude and disrespectful to me. I walked into the restaurant and found a place to seat, we were left unattended for almost 10 minutes, when I got up to go let her know no one had attended to us, she got very rude and said its cos we walked in on our own without waiting to be seated, I mentioned that I was unaware I had to wait to be seated as no one said anything to me when i walked in. She proceeds to tell me to go to the lady by d entrance. I was shocked at her level of rudeness and her very confrontational attitude. I go to d hostess, and she follows me and starts to tell me it's not d fault of the hostess, and she will not even let me speak. I asked to see d manager and when the manager came. He was not in any way helpful and did not even apologise. He just changed our seat and gave us water. This experience messed up my entire stay because I could not fathom why I was treated this way. I'm a very seasoned traveller with 71 countries to my name, and this experience was very distasteful It does not matter how beautiful a hotel is. But bad treatment from staff can ruin the entire experience

Do not stay at this Hotel. My wife and I were in town for a concert, we drove 5 hours and arrived around 8 pm. When we were checking in, there was a very loud band playing in the bar area which was in the middle of the hotel. We tried to communicate with the person at the front desk and we were having a difficult time. We received our room number and it was directly above the bar where the band was playing. We went down to the front desk to ask how long they were playing, they said until 9:30 or 10. We made plans to make sure we came back to the hotel after that. Saturday was the concert, we left our room at around 9 am for some breakfast, came back around 2 and room had not been serviced. We then proceeded to get ready for the concert and left around 3:30pm. Got back to our room at 11 pm and the room still had not been serviced. Called front desk and they told us that since the hotel was over sold, there was not enough staff that was scheduled. TOTALLY UNEXCEPTABLE, I had booked my room 1 1/2 before then. They offered me 2 free breakfast vouchers and $50 off. Saturday room rate was $100 more than Fridays. I was told that a manager would contact me, and I still have not heard back. I was sent a survey and gave the lowest rating and asked for someone to contact me. I still have not been contacted and I'm also a Bonvoy member. I will be cancelling that creditcard.
