I recently stayed at the Renaissance Honolulu Hotel & Spa and had an incredible experience from start to finish. This brand-new hotel is beautifully decorated and maintained with amenities and dining that were top-notch. However, what truly set this place apart for me was the exceptional customer service provided by Mindy! Mindy went above and beyond to ensure my stay was perfect! From the moment I checked in, she was warm, welcoming, and ensured I had everything I needed to make my stay comfortable. Her professionalism and Warm Aloha made me feel right at home! I highly recommend the Renaissance Honolulu Hotel & Spa to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. I will definitely be returning!

It's our first time staying at this hotel in Honolulu. This is a brand new hotel with a very aesthetic and modern design. The service is also top-notch. There was an issue with the first room that we checked in and Earl was able to find another room for us quickly when being brought up. We are glad that we made the decision to stay at this hotel and we will choose this over the rundown and dated resorts in Waikiki any time.

It had been a particularly unpleasant flight on Hawaiian Airlines (that's a rant for another time) and we were arriving late in the evening to the Renaissance Honolulu Hotel & Spa but the moment we arrived at the front desk and were met by Earl we knew it was going to be a great stay.||They have an amazing location and staff, without a doubt with the exception of housekeeping this was our best stay in Hawaii, from Sage at valet and the shuttle to Joseph, Jason and Argel at the pool to Tim at the front as well as your superstar Junko at the front desk you have an exceptional staff. ||The location is absolutely perfect and so close to some amazing food and shopping, we would have given them a 10+ if it were not for the daily hassle with housekeeping. For whatever reason and despite herculean efforts by Tim and untimely with Junko, I am not sure we would ever have gotten daily housekeeping. It was very frustrating and took six days to finally get things settled but again thanks to Junko at the front desk the last half of our stay we received consistent housekeeping. ||While we visit Honolulu often (about 6 times a year) ,their front desk staff are the absolute best in the business and are knowledgeable about the area, helpful and always professional. We can say the same thing about your valet/shuttle driver Sage, he was very helpful and professional during our stay. ||Exceptional staff, modern amenities, great location and such a calming relaxed environment. The pool was amazing as was the staff and if you’re into the beach it's a short bus or ride-share to Waikiki, this should be your go to hotel when visiting Honolulu.||Amazing location, next to the Ala Moana Mall you have some outstanding places to eat and if you are on a budget the food-court is a great place to find both local food and several chain restaurants. In addition, it's a short walk to several local restaurants that include Dim Sum, traditional Hawaiian, Chinese and Vietnamese to name a few. The bus stops are close and all the major lines can take you anywhere in Oahu. ||Great views, clean, comfortable bed, large bathroom and larger in our opinion than the typical hotel room in Hawaii. Despite the frustration with housekeeping this is our "go to" hotel when we visit Oahu and we can't wait to return.

The brand new Renaissance Honolulu was the perfect starting point for our Hawaii honeymoon. Endless comforts and services, central location and the friendliest and most helpful staff we have encountered at a hotel. It was great to be close to so many things like Ala Moana center and beach without being in the madness of Waikiki. Some highlights include the free shuttles around town, in-house restaurant Mara and the beautiful pool level with state of the art spa and gym. Honorable mention goes out to the mattress - truly one of the most comfortable I have ever slept on! If you stay at the Renaissance you will truly feel at home and well taken care of!

Hotel is still very new, very modern. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious, clean, had everything we’d need to make our stay comfortable. Had a kitchen where we made breakfast every day, washer and dryer in our room was very quiet, and worked great. Toilet had a bidet. Windows opened wide to let in ocean breeze! Sensors for the AC shuts off if you open windows or leave them open. Valet parking only, $55. I wish this had been included with my original booking. Sky deck bar was more expensive than we’re accustomed to, but it’s Honolulu so we expected that.

We had the most wonderful family staycation at Renaissance Honolulu Hotel and Spa. We decided to spend 1 night to try this new hotel. Check-in went swiftly and the ambassador named Tim was so nice to take his time to explain about all the amenities provided at the hotel. You get a special wristband for being Marriott Elite member. When we walked into the room, we were mesmerized by the room that came with sub-zero fridge, Nespresso Coffee machines with 6 pods, nice fluffy robes and slippers! Floor to ceiling window also gave so much natural light and wonderful view of the city and ocean. Kids loved the oversize tub in the bathroom! After checking-in, we decided to try the restaurant in the lobby called MARA. Server Alex was very welcoming and attentive. He gave a couple different recommendations, and they were all so delicious. You MUST TRY tasting trio, Ahi crudo, and mushroom pizza. We also took the complimentary shuttle to Waikiki so we didn't have to deal with parking. You felt like a celebrity riding on this Mercedes sprinter. We ended the night by having a family BBQ time on one of the BBQ pavilions. We made the reservation through Spa and they were able to reserve the space for 4 hours. Kids were able to go in and out of the pool while the adults were grilling BBQ and drinking local beer!||Next morning, we were so excited to try the club lounge as this is the ONLY hotel in Oahu offering lounge access for Elite Marriott Bonvoy members. We enjoyed the continental breakfast overlooking the magic island ocean view to start the day. We've been to many luxury hotels but none of them came even close to the experience we had at Renaissance!

Love the property and the location, but they permanently closed the club lounge during my stay without an advance email notification prior to arrival. As the only Bonvoy property left on Oahu with a premium club lounge it was a nice amenity to use where one could work on a laptop and get some tasks done while enjoying a refreshment and the view.||At check in they mentioned something about in lieu of bonvoy club lounge access they can provide a small credit to use on property or granting additional bonvoy points. Nice gesture, but hopefully they add another option like a breakfast credit at the cafe which in my opinion would go farther in making bonvoy elite members feel whole since they no longer will get access to club lounge.

Absolutely fabulous from beginning to end of our 8 day stay! Justin was phenomenal during our late evening check-in after 16 hours of travel from the mainland east coast. Patrice from the front was also amazing & a pleasure to chat with each day as she is a wealth of knowledge for the island! Our room was a spectacular corner room on the 24th floor facing the ocean & captured the picture sunrise & sunset each day. The finishing touches of this hotel are magnificent & truly 5 star! The warm toilet seat (bidet) was the most unexpected highlight of our stay & we were so sad to leave it behind. The hotel is extremely well built & insulated as you could not hear a single peep from any of the neighboring rooms. This is the 2nd out of hundreds of hotel stays across the world where I wished I could live in the hotel. Round of applause to the builders & staff for such a treasure in Honolulu!
