Renaissance Boston Seaport Hotel - Featured Reviews (2261)
Beautiful location in very walkable area. Central to amazing restaurants and nightlife. The hotel itself is very well maintained and clean. The staff were so helpful and kind, we were gifted sparkling waters on arrival and bottled smart waters on departure. Our car was taken care of in their quick valet service. They have a beautiful indoor pool and gym on the 5th floor. Highly recommend this hotel for a weekend, a stop over or a longer stay.
I was happy with the early check-in option of 10 am. The food credit gave lots of incentive to visit their restaurant. The big draw was the excellent amenities the hotel offered. I wish they had the outdoor patio open by the pool and gym area. I enjoyed the valet parking and found it very convenient. As well loved that the hotel was right near the Boston harbour.
The southern seaport area of Boston is now the go-to place. The hotel is steps from the water with spectacular views. Everything in that area is walkable and safe - even at night. Lots of great restaurants and shopping.||The rooms are nice and the views are great. However, you do hear people walking around. The main floor is tastefully contemporary and the restaurant has a very limited menu. Overall, we would go back because of the standards, location and views.
Great hotel in a good location that not too crowded or noisy.|Spent one night here before leaving from Logan airport.|Clean, fresh, well decorated. Rooms where on the large side and it had all the usual facilities and stuff in the room.|Very well located for restaurants and access to the airport. Took 10 mins to get to Logan and that was with an accident in the tunnel.|Used the voucher to have breakfast in the dinning room. Service was fast and attentive, food was very good.|Would recommend.
Great location and very walkable area. Check-in was slow and did not get preferred room, but they got me in 30 minutes before official check-in so that was nice - (did have to wait a while). Room was clean and gym was really nice, not too busy. Room AC was really good, on a hot day it was great to come back to a cold room! Elite lounge was very nice, staff helpful, had a great breakfast there.
The location is great, right on the liberty wharf. The lobby is very beautiful. It's nice to have a Starbucks in the hotel. The bar/restaurant is quite spacious. The bed was fairly comfortable and the shower was good. But, there were not additional amenities that would be expected in a 4-star hotel. There were no robes/slippers and no special toiletries. The room was very tired looking and felt worn, with the carpet coming up in the middle of the room (a trip hazard), and the bed skirt looking dated and askew. When I arrived, there were dog toys and leashes still in the room from the previous guest (!). The walls were very thin and I heard all the activities in the next room. Also, the lap pool was not available but I was not told this until I went to the pool for a swim. The view from my room was nice, but the description was somewhat misleading as I could only see the water if I was on one side of the room near the window. Lastly, those hidden fees -- I just do not understand why I had to pay $30/day plus tax for a destination fee which could then be used as credit against food/drink in the hotel; that just feels like deceit and manipulation and doesn't sit well with me. Next time I am in this area, I might try the Seaport Hotel or Westin Hotel instead.
Platinum member. Had no issues at this hotel. Service was great, location is awesome, and room was great. Front desk was welcoming and helpful. I surmise the bad reviews come from people with bad attitudes. Who knows. I’ve stayed here a dozen times and have never had a bad experience.
Really enjoyed staying here. It's pretty walkable to all areas of downtown Boston. It was very clean, staff was very prompt and friendly, had no issues checking in. The pier is also nice to walk around at night if you want to spend some time outside/walking after a dinner.
Lovely hotel right in the center of downtown Boston! I stayed in a suite on the second floor, there was only one other room near me. Hotel room was a great size, bedroom itself was huge! Staff was extremely friendly! They have an observation deck on
