This is an amazing restaurant/bar. Kandy was a fantastic waitress, and the food was amazing. My wife and I ordered the stuffed mushrooms for an appetizer (which we highly recommend) they were delicious. The main course was prime rib with potatoes and roasted vegetables. The prime rib was cooked to perfection. I could keep going but you need to try Remedy Speakeasy for yourself! I guarantee that you will enjoy it!!!

Love the ambiance inside and out. Cozy inside bar and a relaxing outdoor patio. Our server was very friendly and attentive. Outstanding drink menu. But, the food was a huge miss. Look at my picture of the sausage risotto. That is not Risotto, and it was enedible. The fish and chips were ok.

We walked into a bar and burger joint down the street that was freezing cold. Too cold to enjoy eating dinner. Left and walked just a couple doors down to Remedy. We were both hungry, both in the mood for burgers. We were immediately waited on by a friendly bartender. We both ordered their signature burger. One of the best burgers we’ve ever had. Yumola. And the fries were awesome too. Great background music. The only issue for me is the place is a little too dark for my old eyes. Won’t stop me from coming here again if I am ever in the neighborhood again.

Nice quiet place for a date. Great food and service. I will say it seemed like the burger, while cooked wonderfully, seemed like it was missing something (maybe a sauce, maybe seasoning?). I did dip the burger in the fry sauce and it was great. I'd be curious to try it with the other sauces on the menu.

This place is a gem. Watching the way the owners have welcomed every person in this community is beyond a 5 star review. The food slaps, the staff is exceptional and the drinks come with toys and edible glitter, come through. Whether you are on a date or need to talk smack about your less than stellar roommate, this is a place to heal, feel and have some thrills. Comedy, karaoke, trivia or burlesque, this is a new staple and a must visit!

We decided to try Remedy a while ago for date night, and were not impressed. We showed up around 7 pm, and they were a little busy, but not slammed. We were seated right away, but from there it fell apart fast. Our waitress was pretty inattentive. We sat at our table watching as other people were seated and brought their drink orders before we were even approached. Once we were eventually able to put in our drink order, we had already been there long enough to know what we wanted to eat so we placed our food order at the same time. I ordered the Derby sandwich with poutine as the side, and my date ordered the salmon cakes with the poutine for her side as well. Again, after watching several tables that were seated after us being bright their food, ours eventually made its way out to us. The salmon cakes date ordered were decent, but had no salmon inside. Her poutine was cold, and the fries were over-cooked. Not a great start with the food… I looked at my sandwich, and immediately noticed some problems. Not only did it look nothing like the photo, but the bread was burnt, and everything on the plate was cold. As we both had cold food on our plates, it was clear the food had been sitting a while before it was brought out to us. After a few moments, I was able to flag down someone (our waitress was still nowhere to be seen) and explained the issue and asked for the plate to be re-made. In my attached photos, you can clearly see how they advertise the sandwich, how it initially came to the table (with burnt bread clearly visible) and the remade version. It’s concerning that the cooks plated something so clearly different from what they advertise, and the wate staff still chose to serve it. A complete breakdown at all levels. The fourth photo shows the difference in quality of the poutine between what my date was brought, and my freshly made batch on their second attempt. The remade version had better plating and everything was warm. Unfortunately, the food itself wasn’t great. Everything was made with way too much salt, and borderline not edible. If I hadn’t already had so many issues at this point, it would have been sent back again, but at this point I was just ready to be done and leave. It might have been a bit more bearable if the waitress ever bothered to come back to the table and refill our drinks, but I suppose wanting another beer or more water was too much to ask. At the end, our waitress eventually showed back up and brought the check and mentioned hearing that “something happened with some of the food”. No asking what actually happened, no apology, no offer to make anything right. With so many other great options for food in the area, I haven’t been back and don’t see that changing anytime soon.

Went with my partners out to the burlesque show, had an absolutely amazing time. Despite the servers and bartender being absolutely slammed they got amazing drinks and food out to our table in a timely manner. Everything looked fantastic, the food, the drinks, even the chefs. 🤤 Remedy has a unique experience you can't find at boring street bars. Karaoke? Good for you we had fine dining and dancers.

Best latte I’ve had on the peninsula(maple latte)! Super good espresso and a cozy environment that has plenty of space and different types of seating for working/reading. Definitely will be back regularly!
