This was a short overnight stay. The room was affordable for the less than 12 hours we were staying. There is a step up into the room. The room also smelled of stale cigarette smoke. Overall it was clean and the bed was comfortable. It was a good choice for a quick stay.

We booked here because of the reviews, thinking it would be basic but clean. Check in was fine, we were in room 17. The room had a bad smell, so we put on fan, but it got worse the longer we were there, coming from the bathroom, we are pretty sure it was sewer gas. went to the office, they offered us a 10% discount, candles and air freshener, I really don’t think they understood the possible health issues, we were offered another room, but only one bed in it, we are friends travelling together, and don’t usually sleep in one bed. No refund was offered. We did finally take the other room, because we could not drive at night. We slept poorly. I think the new owners are struggling, as are many small older motel owners do not have enough money to completely renovate, but I cannot recommend this place.

Husband and I stayed here for our anniversary. It was clean and quiet. We had one issue and reported it and it was taken care of that day. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants a comfy stay. The staff was great. It's on M-13 and pretty quiet for being on a main road.

I called ahead after booking on expedia that I would be a late (2300) check in. They said no problem. I got there in the dark. It was a very quiet motel outside of "town". Gentlemen at the check in was very polite and quick about check in. My room is perfect. It's small (1 full size bed not a queen) the bathroom is just what it needs to be. Stand up shower. I did not ask for a handicapped room as a below knee amputee, I can navigate without special needs so I don't know if they offer that. As of May 2024, they do not offer wake up calls. The AC works great as I like to sleep in 65-67°. I definitely recommend if you are needing a comfy, no frills, safe area to spend the night. P.s. the bed isn't bad and you get 3 pillows.

My boyfriend and I booked this hotel as it was close to an event we had plans for. The room was okay but the bathroom was very small and the door did not latch. The air conditioner had a strange smell when I turned it on and when we went outside to our vehicle we somehow got locked out of the room. Then we had an emergency and needed to cut our stay short by a day. I asked about a refund for the day we were unable to stay and I was told they couldn't issue one as I booked my stay through Expedia, well I contacted Expedia and explained the situation and they contacted the hotel who refused to give us a refund. Basically they lied to us when they said they were unable to do anything because we booked through a 3rd party. They could have given us a refund for the one night but simply refused (I did not plan to have an emergency cut our trip short). Also, when we were being checked in our credit card information was manually entered and I watched as they saved the card information on their tablet (like you can do on your phones to use it again) when I questioned why I was simply told they had too. I understand having the information to charge the card but there was no need to save our card on their personal tablet. To sum it up I definitely will not recommend or return to this hotel. I really had high hopes for this place since the reviews weren't too terrible. I'm just warning anyone who stays if you have an emergency and need to check out earlier then you booked for do NOT expect a refund. Also be prepared to have your card information saved on their personal tablet which could potentially give them access to your card whenever... that's just my opinion and the impression I got from how they responded to my questioning why it needed to be saved. Specially since the card was charged instantly so, they definitely did not need to save it.

This was a quick overnight stay. The bed was comfortable and the shower was great. There is a step up into the room which might be problematic for someone who cannot step up and over the doorway.

Stayed one night and it was nice for the price! Friendly receptionist and pleasant countryside apartment overall!
