Relax Inn - Hotel in Elmira - 45 Fisherville Rd, USA

I don’t know why I did not see any more people in this hotel but it was very clean, very eco-friendly, caring couple. I stayed there for 2 days and it is very peaceful here. Spend your money here instead of overpriced hotels.

The owners of this establishment are the most understanding and caring individuals I ever had the pleasure of meeting and dealing with. They were helping the community in the biggest way ever. I was staying with them for a long time and I asked them to help me for a few days until can sort out a few things and they actually let me stay until I was able to. They calling me they check up on me to make sure that I'm okay and they're pretty much like family to me. I would recommend anybody to come stay at this motel because they will treat you like family. And if I ever needed a place to stay again that would be the first place I would happily spend my money on so I can stay there because of the way they treated me. The rooms are clean no bed bugs and they're even upgrading the motel as we speak please make sure that if you come to stay anywhere around this area that it will be in the relax inn. They will make you feel more than welcome for coming to this part of New York.

We were expecting the worst after reading most of the reviews, however, were pleasantly surprised: beds were firm, shower worked, clean linen, and no spiders! Had all the amenities, 40’ flatscreen TV, microwave and fridge, but still seemed overpriced ($175). We were there during race week, which might explain the high rate. The Inn was full and one couple we met had been returning there every year for the past 20 years! Proprietor and other guest were friendly.

It wasnt your usual Fairfield inn , friendly clean and great staff, normally i avoid Fairfield inns we have had terrible experiences with your franchise owners especially in nort carolina off 95|We checked in and had the car full , my wife mention to front desk clerk and they had no cameras outside of entrance and car was broken into within a few hours , police said they tnought highly unusual hotel refuses to acknowledge and is in my lawyers hands now terrible experience. So i was pleasantly surprised with my stay in Elmira

The floor wasn't the cleanest (bed was)and no coffee maker. For the price I'm happy. Good hot water, friendly staff, bigger hotel fridge, bed was not worn out,nice rose bushes,will go back

All the good first, Very clean room, bath linen and bedding very clean and fresh. Carpet very clean. Door locks work great. Very quiet place. Close shopping and restaurants. Now the bad, pulled dresser drawer out and found women's panties and other clothes stuffed behind drawer. Shower tub , faucets, shower head need to be replaced, I had to tighten shower head and it still sprays water out. Need plumbers tape on threads. Sink drain and faucet needs to be replaced corrosion and rust. Toilet paper holders need replaced. Walls above shower area need to be replaced and caulked. Baseboards in bath need paint and caulking. Coat rack a little rusty. Bathroom door trim on inside of bathroom needs to be painted in caulked. The bad about the room is not something that would stop me from staying here again it's a very clean room and I would book her again. I was just pointing out the things that need to be done in the room to make it better. I worked maintenance in motels and hotels for many years and I know what to look for but like I said I would book her again it's a very clean room and the linens and beds are very clean.

Charged more than was quoted at check-in. Refused to refund the overcharge, floor had not been vacuumed, window broken and couldn't lock securely, towels dirty, shower disgusting with mildewed shower curtain. Couldn't stay the second night. No refunds policy. I even tried to offer a compromise. They refused. Told me the rates went up. Shady place.

PLEASE DO NOT STAY HERE! Owners appear nice at first, but if you so much as say a single thing they don't like, they become INCREDIBLY rude. My girlfriend and I discovered bed bugs in our room and took a photo, included below. When we told them in the lobby, they accused us of lying and that the photo was not of their hotel. On top of that when I went to show the male owner the bug(s), the female owner told my girlfriends to "get out of her face." No settlement was reached and we ended up leaving as we did not want to bring bed bugs home with us. Save your money and DO NOT COME HERE
